These are good quality basic inoculating loops. I'm a lab science student and have been using these to practice streaking agar plates, and I get good results with them. They're a pretty good value since you get multiple of them and they are reusable and can be sterilized with flame or an incinerator. I wouldn't expect them to hold up forever and the metal ends can bend if you're rough with them, but for student use they are very good.

As someone with a passion for mycology, I find myself needing the right tools when working with spores. This inoculation set is perfect for my mini lab when I am working with a sterile environment that requires an inoculation tool in order to make the best use of multiple petri dishes and microscopic material. These tools are made from good quality and I have flame sterilized them multiple times Prior to using them. They hold up and are very easy to clean. I can see these lasting for a very long time due to the great quality.

Good quality and nice assortment of loops to cell streak anything my geek heart desires from mushroom spores to microalgae. Nice color coded handles as well and they're not flimsy like my last loop.
