This doesn’t fit a 2024 f250. The mount has to go in upside down to fit. The strap and hook hang against the bed.

These are heavy duty replacement boxlink plates with self retracting tie downs. The replacement plates are better than the original because the wing holes are more accessible. The self retracting tie downs are super convenient in most common transportation tasks. For more complex tasks, you may use extra tie downs with higher ratings anyway. The attached self retracting tie downs are light duty with uncertain weight lifting rating. Overall, I think this is a good upgrade.

Update: Based on my review the seller reached out to me to offer a full refund. I had already sent it back and received my refund from Amazon. I raised the review to 4 Stars due to the quick customer service based on my review. Hard to find folks that step up and get proactive based on a review and it indicates good customer service. I will buy from them again if I happen upon anything I like.Original 2 star review:I really Wanted to like these, however the ratchet was only attached with one bolt. They don't reference a weight rating and the connection looks like it will not withstand 1.2K pulling force. I returned them.

Remve and replace took less than two minutes each.Lashing down yellow boxes, propane bottles, lumber is quick, effective. The straps retract to a compact roll, always immediately available, unlike the loose snarl I’ve been keeping in a bag. These straps are also spring-loaded to retract smoothly avoiding tangles.1” x 10’ polyester is neither as strong nor as long as my loose tiedown straps, but in truth more than enough for any of the stuff I put in back.

These retractable truck bed ratchet straps are perfectly fit for my 2021 Ford F150. They are easy to install—just screw in, and they were ready to go. I removed the original boxlink plates first, as instructed, and the whole process took maybe 10 minutes. This idea was so cool. The automatic retraction keeps the straps neat and tangle-free, which is a huge upgrade over traditional tie-downs.
