Bought these back in 2020 because I thought they would make me look cool. I don’t know if they did or not but I felt cool for sure. And after 3 years of excessive use the first one snapped and I had 5 more to work with.

These retractable clips have been a game-changer for keeping my essentials easily accessible. I attached one to my RFID pouch along with the key for my steering wheel lock, allowing me to keep my key securely in my purse while still being able to pull it out quickly when needed. The retraction is smooth, and the claw clasp is sturdy, holding everything securely. A simple but highly functional solution that makes daily tasks so much easier. Great quality and highly recommend!

I really like this retractable badge reel. The last one that my employer gave to me over five years ago finally died, so I had to get a new one. I have a very thick waistbelt, and at first, I was worried that this item would not be secure on my waist. Admittedly, my belt is thick, but I did not think the reel would be safe on my belt; that's when I realized that this reel also has a carabiner attachment, and I was able to attach it to my belt loop securely. Win! Also, on the other end, there are two connections; one is another carabiner-style connector suitable for keys. The other connector is a button-style connector suitable for badges. I like that it has 2 methods of connection on both ends!

I attach these to my work vests/aprons and clip tools like pens, container openers, and rings of common barcodes on them so I don't have to dig through my pockets or look around to see if anything's nearby. I usually buy pens whose clips have openings that the clasp can go through. I superglued a permanent marker clip to one of the clips so when my marker dies, I just stick a new one in the cap. The retractability keeps things out of my way, but I can pull on them and use them, then let go and they go right back to waiting for me. They don't retract well if you put a lot of weight on them like an actual hammer, but little things like paint can openers work just fine. Mine usually last me more than a year at my full-time job, and that's including a few times where people have asked to borrow a pen, I extended mine out, and they accidentally tried to yank me over the counter. My dad had something similar when he would scan his ID to get into his work parking lot and to get through locked doors, but his just clipped in. I prefer these, because they hold themselves in loops and are harder to lose/tug off.

Lightweight clip. The clip worked well for holding my badge, but the button didn't fit my badge. Eventually I attached a safety box cutter to the clip. The cord isn't super long, so using it to hold a box cutter isn't a great idea unless you want to have to take it off and put it back on repeatedly, but it is easy to remove. I never took the box cutter off but it somehow ended up breaking the clip, so it's not super sturdy for something like that, but as a simple badge clip it does the job.

I got this because I use a swipe card everyday for my job. This works like a charm to easily move about. However, mine didn't last long. I used it for about 8 months before the wire snapped, and needed to change it over to my new one.I'll buy this again because the price is great, and with the amount of times I used it, it held up, but having a retractable card holder lasting over a year would be nice.

I initially bought these lanyards for my work access badge, and they have worked without any problems. The retractable feature is very strong and reliable, so I never worry about the line getting loose. The extra badge reel came in handy on my trip to Japan, where I used it to hold my ICOCA card. At one point, the lanyard got caught while I was standing up (it was attached to my sling bag), and it survived a full body resistance without any issues. I'm genuinely impressed by its durability and versatility. Whether for work or travel, these lanyards are a dependable choice.
