Step 1
Determine and mark the punching position.
Step 2
Drilling
Step 3
Install and fix the upper and lower bracket.
Step 4
Lock the door and install it vertically downwards.
Step 5
Lift up&turn to "unlock" postion(anti-clockwise),stretch the mesh horizontally.
Step 6
Confirm the installation position on the other side and mark it.
Step 7
Clockwise and turn to lock the gate.
Step 8
Mark the position and drill holes to install the upper and lower brackets.

This gate was easy to install and held up great against the kids, it was the dogs that put it to the real test where its durability failed. It’s okay though because we have two Velociraptors that could probably shred through a steel gate. The good boy pictured was not the culprit. 10/10 would recommend if you have normal dogs and not Belgian Maliniois’.

These gates are easy to install and work great! I have two of these gates to keep my toddler and dogs out of certain areas. The wiener dog is only who has learned how to escape. But the gates can be locked so that it’s harder to escape from under the gate.

It retracts nice and is so convenient when you want to open it up and it just goes to it's thing. It keeps our dogs out of the baby's area so there is less fur for him to crawl through and is see through enough that we can still interact with the pups easy enough. Love this as a room divider and it functions quite well after many months of use.

Overall this is a good gate. However, we purchased this for our deck because of their advertising that this is suitable for outdoor use. However this gate gets stuck when it freezes. It's basically useless outdoors for entire days/weeks if temperatures drop below freezing like the current cold spell in the NE. That seems like a major flaw. Now we're forced to leave the gate open and that is a safety issue. Climbing over the closed the first time we realized it had gotten stuck was also really annoying.

Metal construction. Very sturdy. Had a 70lb golden retriever run right into it and stopped her in her tracks. Only complaint is pulling on the “lock/unlock” is not ideal. There are push styles instead that would be better.

The unit was easy to install and doesn't need any special settings to adjust how far we want to pull it. Just a simple turn of a dial locks and unlocks the gate and it stretches as far as there is equipment on the roll. I had ordered an extra set of hardware before I could get another gate. I installed the extra hardware on another opening and can easily move the gate from one opening to the other with just one click. It's very convenient and works well.However, you need to install the gate as close to the floor as possible otherwise your child may be able to slide their way underneath the fabric. If you have large wall molding across the bottom, you may not be able to use this gate. It does have an adjustable bottom to accomodate for high moldings, but the thickness can only go so far. Ours just made it.
