It's a good chair, don't get me wrong, but it's a true pain to put together even with two people. Also, the padding is horrible. I am in pain if I sit in it too long. Not a good idea for an office chair or adults with arthritis.

I bought this chair on 8/19 as a Christmas present for my son. When it arrived I put the box in a closet until Christmas Eve when I opened it and noticed it was missing the gas cylinder. This caused some panic. I knew I couldn’t give it to him so I snapped a few pictures of all the parts spread out and packed it back up and stashed it in the closet. I contacted Respawn customer support and they were amazing. My rep was understanding of the situation and couldn’t be nicer. I sent him the photos and the proof of purchase. Within a week they sent a brand new cylinder sent to my house. They could’ve easily denied my claim because so much time had gone by after the original purchase.My son is super happy with his first real gaming chair. The chair is sturdy and comfortable. Is it a top of the line chair, no, but it is way nicer than I would’ve expected for the price. I wish all companies could be like Respawn. I will definitely buy from them again when I need another chair.

So far it is comfortable enough. I like that the armrests move out of the way, convenient for racing games. It was not the most pleasant assembly process. The screw holes on the armrests did not align well with the seat bottom or seat back. I had to apply quite a bit of pressure to 'stretch' the armrests to line up. Maybe I just got one made on an off day.

Easy to put together for one person. I only needed a 3rd hand when the cat, who also loves the chair, started to fight me for it while I was putting in the final screws for the arms. Very comfortable for a person that likes to sit on their legs or feet with the way the arms are attached.

The lifting arms are valuable if you have a table/desk which is shorter than you have this chair set, for the arms to slide underneath, so it's easy to lift one to swivel the chair to get on and off. I do wish the arms had a different material, what's on these is a little uncomfortable long-term on bare skin. I did get covers for the arm rests from amazon that took care of that.

As i was putting the chair together i kept thinking what is hard about this. Lots of reviews claim this was hard to put together. This chair was one of the easiest to assemble pieces of furniture ive ever assembled. I only glanced at the instructions to make sure i was using the right screws. I had it together in 10 min. I might be more mechanically inclined than others but i make up for that with my laziness. It was really easy. Also super comfortable and seems like quality materials. Great chair would recommend to anyone.
