I use this tape to seal artwork edges and backing when I use epoxy. Holds and releases as expected. Very handy and reliable.

This Resin Tape for Epoxy Resin Molding has been a useful addition to my crafting supplies, but there are a couple of things to watch out for. While it's great for handling high temperatures, direct heat like a torch for popping bubbles can cause the tape to retract, which might affect your project’s edges. Also, the adhesive is strong but may damage existing finishes on some surfaces when removed. That said, it still peels off cleanly in most cases and does a good job of providing a clean edge for epoxy molds. The 2-inch width and 108FT length are convenient, giving you plenty of material to work with. Just be cautious when using it on delicate surfaces or with direct heat.

It's a bit too thin and stiff, which keeps it from sticking to surfaces properly.I would suggest opting for something a bit thicker, with more flexibility. If you're using a flat surface, it may not matter to you, and might be a good value.If you require something a bit more flexible, this product may not work for you.

Not an expert working with epoxy. Had a table project and wanted a thick (1/2") epoxy coating. Did a thin sealing pour and let it set for 48 hours. Rimmed the table with this tape and did my deep pour.The tape sealed the edges completely - no leaks! After curing for 48 hours the tape came off completely clean leaving no residue.Won't use this on a ton of projects, but when you need it you need it.

The adhesion isn't that great for this product, so I was somewhat disappointed. However, to be fair, I haven't experienced resin tape before, so maybe low adhesion is normal for this sort of tape. Still--it took some serious mashing down on my open bezel frames to get them to stay put on the tape, and sometimes the resin still managed to leak out underneath the frame and form a hardened puddle I had to snip off using some craft nippers. It'll work, but maybe not quite as much as the hype in the product description.

This removes well from epoxy. BUT... You will need to over cover with tape. Epoxy very easily defeats the adhesive and seeps out, so I re-tape with painters tape and then cover with packing tape. The adhesive side will leave a mat finish on the epoxy and the shiny side will leave a gloss finish. Works great once you use it properly.
