The logo is far smaller than expected but, the bags are huge! They are bright yellow and very noticeable. These bags are thick, durable and not prone to ripping.

I shutter to think these are actually out there somewhere carrying infection waste. These bags have defects, ripples and several even have holes in them. They all have poor seams, and are not what I would consider to be tear resistant.Either they don't pass the ASTM standard they're claiming, or that standard is worthless... Hard no from me. In my experience, the whole purpose of meeting ASTM/ISO standards is to be able to guarantee consistency in product - I would need to rely on these bags to ALWAYS meet a certain standard, in this case for medical use. Even ONE having a hole in it in a batch is unacceptable... let alone more than one. I'll be relegating these to normal garbage can use. They're 1 mil thick, 29 inches wide and 43.5 inches long (laying flat).

1. Large 33 gallon yellow bags.2. The thickness is probably 1 mil. or slightly more.3. They are definitely not as thick as contractor bags,4. I suppose these will be okay for light weight soft items.5. I will use these to store extra blankets and linens.

Review for: Resilia Medical - Biohazard Bags - For Infectious Waste Disposal, Meets DOT ASTM Standards for Hospital Use, YellowThese bags are exactly as described with the dimension and capacity correct. They do not have any type of handle tie but they are thick enough, making them quite sturdy. The bags are all in a roll and have perforations between bags. They do have to be carefully separated for they will tear.In case it matters to anyone, the bags arrive in a bag rather than a box.

I have to be honest... I did not buy these for toxic waste. I just ordered them because I wanted strong bags that don't break. I do not have regular trash pick up at my house and I have to haul my garbage to the local dump, and I am tires of bags breaking and leaking, so I figure these were made to avoid that! I saw the other reviews about the bottoms being weak. I think these are made to stay scrunched up on the bottom and not flattened out. Yes, I tried pulling it apart too... nope. I go one more step, since I am not generally using these for hazard waste... I turn them inside out, but the warning still shows thru, so I take a marker and draw an "X" thru the warning graphic... I don't want to scare anyone at the landfill site! So far these work fine for me. If I find differently I will come back here and report.

Having worked in the medical field and a laboratory, I can tell you that these “infectious waste” bags are thin. Only good for soft waste, nothing pokey. If you put anything plastic in these bags, you can expect a rip. I loosely placed a bag on my countertop for one of the photos and you can see the granite through both layers of the bag. These babies really are thin. But that actually worked out perfect for what I was using them for. I didn’t use these bags for real infectious waste, but rather my Halloween display. I stuffed some dead plants from my yard in a bag to fill it out and then I strategically placed some fake heads inside. It looked awesome and created the perfect effect for my theme. I do want to note that even the bendy stems from the dead/rotting plants poked some holes and caused some tears to happen. So these bags really can only be used for soft waste, if using them for their intended purpose. I wouldn’t trust them with anything else or you might have a full blown biohazard cleanup on your hands. The bags come in a roll with perforations between the individual bags. There are 25 bags on the roll and the bags are 33 gallons each.

These large biohazard bags are on a perforated roll that works well - each bag tears off easily without tearing the bag itself. The bags are not bulletproof, but they are sturdy and hold up very well. They are clearly labeled and are meant for use in medical settings. Although labeled similarly as red biohazard bags, the two are meant for different purposes:Red biohazard bags are used to collect anatomical waste including human body fluids, or anything contaminated with such fluids. Yellow biohazard bags are used to dispose of clinical waste like swabs, dressings, tissues, soiled gloves, aprons, pads and nappies. These bags can also be used to collect IV lines and fluid bags used for pharmaceutical medicines, disposable metallic parts and syringe bodies.
