Installation:
Forliver Heat Mats are supplied with plastic stick-on feet.
Remove the feet from the paper and attach them to the corners of the enclosure. The 14 and 20W models are supplied with 6 feet, the extra feet should be placed half way along each side of the enclosure.
Attach the mat under the enclosure in the desired location by taping the transparent edges in the desired location by taping the transparent edges of the mat to the underside of the enclosure and switch the mat on at the power outlet.
Monitor and conduct visual inspections of the heat mat daily for the first 3-5 days after installation to ensure heat mat is functioning properly
Hints & Tips for Best Results
It is important that the heatmat does not cover more than 1/4 to 1/2 of the base area of the enclosure.
In general, the larger the enclosure, the smaller the coverage area should be.
The mat should not be placed directly beneath another heat source such as a heat lamp. Forliver heat mats are designed to operate 24/7 to provide a thermal option. All models include a built-in thermal cutoff which means the mat does not need to be run on a thermostat.
Ensure an adequate thermal gradient is provided in your environment design for the species being housed.

I have a Bearded Dragon He is about 20 inchs long .so He can just about get all His Body on it .and Both My Gecko's love it. .They like it when I bring them out with the pad , put it on My shoulder and let them lay with Me .My Eyelash lizard likes it in His cage ,but still learning to trush Me and not jump around so much , but He is doing better as time goes on .

UPDATED REVIEW: after a few days using this it's not heating my tank at all. The pad definally feels hot to the touch but when I tough the glass it's on its warm but not warm enough to change the temperature inside the hermit crab tank(substrate still cool as well) My house is always between 65-70 degrees and so is the inside of the tank. I turned the heater off and after well over an hour with no heater it was still only 65 in the tank. I had the heater turned up as high as it could go and no difference in the tank temperature. So I'll be returning this. This pad does not heat up a small tank.Original reveiw: It's not my 1st time buying a heating pad. I specifically was looking for one that can be used on the wall of the tank. This one claimed just that and I read reviews listing adhesive. So I ordered it and it arrived in a bag with no directions, no brand name at all and no adhesive! I do like the temperature control on it, my other heat mats didn't have that. But there's no guide for it, so you turn it on and can adjust but there's no "low medium high" on it, you just kind of guess. There is no real need for directions but it seems odd that this came with absolutely nothing, no care instructions for how to apply or use this heating pad should this be your 1st time using one. There is also a plastic part that joins the cord to the mat. This is very thick and does not lay flush with the mat so if your using this under your tank you will need to put "feet" on the tank to raise it up to accommodate the heating pad.Overall this pad does what it's suppose to do, it warms up the tank so my hermit crabs are happy. Would I buy this same pad again? No, spend the extra $5 and get a brand name heating pad. The quality is just not the same as name brand, it looks and feels like it's made to sell cheap to people who want to save a few dollars. Spend a few dollars more and get a name brand one, defiantly worth it.

I have safely used on my large sterilite breeding tote, using at 75% power on the temp dial, the adhesive is only good on glass, so i just used a high temp hot glue and secured around the edges and it has worked and lasted with great warmth (temp tested using digital temp gun) highly recommended to do, and this heat pad has worked for many years so far, especially helps in the winter months, as lights don't work well with many species of insects who prefer dark environments.

Love this mat use them for All of my ball pythons and it works awesome once you tune it in to the two you want I do wish there were makings on the dial but a red sharpie will do the trick I’ll be ordering more very soon The adhesive on this mantis really awesome. The old thick black mats are a product of the past for me no more thermostats and a mat to buy for the new reptiles This product combines them really good and the price is awesome

No, it doesn’t have an adhesion. You don’t want san adhesion for the purpose you might have to use this in another location of the housing you have it in or another housing entirely.Be careful with the item, Don’t bend or sit weight on this heater. Treat it like it is fragile.If you bend or damage the unit in the slightest way, I think it will be damaged.If you stick it on with glue or an adhesion you cannot remove & use some other place or area. It will damage the unit if you were to peel or pull it off.I have mine simply sitting under the large aquarium I have my reptile. I also don’t turn it up completely to HIGH. I pull or turn back the control SLIGHTLY. That gives me a bigger chance it will not get too hot for safety reasons.

This is a very thin heating mat. I was very surprised when we received it. It wouldn’t work for what we intended but I was able to use it under a glass terrarium for a hognose snake. It does NOT get very hot/warm. We had to supplement with another (more known) brand of heating mat which I applied to the side of the terrarium for the warm side. We kept this mat under the tank on the warm side to keep the hide warm. The tank we are using for this mat is a very small tank. So if you need a mat for a large terrarium I don’t recommend this particular one.

Not as warm as i would like but it does the job. If you stick it on glass and try to move it, the sticky part will start peeling offBut my anole seems to like the warmth from it so i guess it was a good buy
