I added these to a misting system that keeps vivariums humidity up. Day 1, the water distribution was very scattered and was not mist like. Over the course of 3 weeks they slowly stopped working all together. I only used reverse osmosis/distilled water

I can't recommend these as an add on to an existing mister system. Mine broke soon after installing them, and never really mutated properly when they did "work."

I love that you can direct these nozzles in all 4 directions at once, getting a real heavy, over mist. They produce a fairly fine mist, and work well for my purposes.
