I bought this for one of our Cope's Gray Treefrog terrariums.I was concerned about an artificial plant because of dyes and chemicals.Frogs are very sensitive to chemicals. There are artificial leaves out there sold for reptiles and amphibians that actually bleed green dye when they get wet. Some have a "chemical" smell.I am happy to report that these leaves are safe for frogs! Even under an automatic misting system. The terrarium was small, so I removed some of the leaves.I used the extra leaves and hot glued them to pieces of wood and branches.Overall I am very happy with this artificial plant!

You get exactly what you order. It's a good sized plant that provides a nice amount of cover for my leopard gecko. It's made of a smooth plastic that has no sharp edges that could hurt your reptile. Water beads and sits on it which is nice for keeping the humidity up and makes wiping any muck off of it a breeze. My Leo knocks it over on occasion so it's better to try and shove the base in the dirt a bit to keep it upright. It's got good color, a nice red and green calathe look that's pretty darn realistic for a cheap plastic plant. It's a nice addition to your terrarium.

(Pictured on the left) have this in a tank for a hatchling crested gecko and it’s fairly large and sturdy. It’s definitely something the gecko will be able to use for its whole life without being too heavy, they’re very sturdy leaves and can be spread out or brought in by moving the base of the stems. When sanitizing them, there was no odor or dye issues so that’s great!! I 100% recommend this if you’re using it for a crested or reptiles in need of coverage. Also a great price for the size :)

It took Ravioli no time to take to this. She sleeps on the broad leaves like a hammock, upside down, and occasionally towards the base with just a foot hanging out. She has some fake orchids and a coconut house as well but this is always her choice napping spot. For reference she is 33g and still has plenty of space on the large leaves to spread out. It would still be great for larger cresteds. The leaves are soft too and the plastic stems aren't sharp that I've found, and I rubbed my finger on all the exposed parts before I put it in the tank to make sure nothing could catch or injure her skin. By far this has been the best decor piece I've bought.
