My beardie loves this heated hammock, but unfortunately it keeps falling down because the suction cups don’t stay on the glass.

I'm not sure if the suction cups would hold up to the weight of my bigger snake, but so far my kingsnake has been able to move around on the hammock without it dropping, so that's good.As far as the heating pad goes, I like that it has a temp knob on the cord, instead of just an On/Off switch, but I would still recommend only using this or any other heating pad on a thermostat, not just by itself.When I get home I'm going to check the surface temps with my temp gun to see what they read at the lowest and highest knob settings, so I will try to update this with those numbers soon.But either way, just to be safe, it should be used on a thermostat.I don't have a bearded dragon or any kinds of lizards or geckos or anything, but I'm sure that this hammock would work great for them, too. I like that it adds another little bit of elevation to my kingsnake's enclosure, and I think he appreciates that, too.

We have heat lamps for basking, But in the winter it's just not warm enough. Hot rocks tend to burn my beardies bellies in the past- While searching for a new Dragon Swing, I came across this item... Super impressed. She loves it. It has an adjustable setting. The Hammock is nice material.We have a happy Dragon. Definitely recommend 10 out of 10.

As someone with over 30 years of experience in the reptile hobby, I’m always curious to see what’s new on the market -- even gimmicky items like this heated hammock. I bought it to evaluate its potential, though I had low expectations. Unfortunately, those expectations were met.This product is essentially a hammock with a pocket for a small under-tank heat pad and no thermostat (though it does have temperature control). It’s reminiscent of the outdated "hot rocks" that experienced keepers have long since abandoned. The issue is the same: reptiles can over-rely on the localized heat source, leading to burns if they don’t recognize they’re overheating. Moreover, it’s an inefficient and outdated way to provide warmth.Functionality aside, the size is a problem. It’s far too small for an adult bearded dragon, the only species I can think of that might enjoy a hammock. Perhaps a baby beardie or iguana could use it briefly, but it becomes impractical as they grow.If you’re looking for a comfortable hammock for your reptile, skip this product. It's a fun idea, but not at all practical. A woven seagrass hammock is a much safer and more practical option, and your reptile will thank you for it.

My beardie is in love with this hammock. I worried about not being able to control the temperature for fear that it may make him too warm. But I figure he should have enough common sense to get off the thing if it is too warm for him - he pretty much lives his life on this thing while he's inside his habitat, so it must be very comforting for him. When I take him out, he is warm, but his belly doesn't feel hot and the hammock only feels warm to the touch. So I think it is fine. Happy beardie, happy mommy : )

It is getting hard to find heating pads that don't cut off thanks to timers and safety stuff so when it was time to replace my old warmer from the dark ages I had to go to this heating pad instead of my traditional old school approach. The size was a benefit and let me fit things a lot easier. I ended up clipping one of the suction cups and just using the ring as an anchor. I don't really trust suction cups a lot but you do what you have to.The unit felt safe and warm. Looks pretty water/humidity resistant too so I should be good.

My beardie is in a large enclosure and I'm always worried about him getting enough heat. Well, this solved my problem completely. Has a nice long cord and easy to use controls. My beardie has been loving the extra warmth this heated hammock provides him!
