The strap buckles were surprisingly very secure on the straps and did not allow the ramp to move. The only suggestion I would make is for the straps to be a dark color (instead of yellow) so they show less dirt, grime, stains.

We needed to replace a broken strap on our ramps, these are heavier duty than what came on the ramps. Just wish they came in black like the originals.

This is pretty much a 4 foot tie-down strap with the "pull-to-tighten" mechanism (rather than many "ratchet" tie-downs). On one side of the latching mechanism is a ~1 foot strap sewn in a loop (perhaps to go around the ramp) and the other side has the 4 foot strap with a metal hook. The strap that you pull on to tighten it is literally just the cut end of the strap, yet I've seen others that provide a small loop on it (for you to grab and pull on much easier). I may not be using this for the intended ATV ramp, but it can be used in many things needing a "tie-down" of some kind.
