I purchased this igniter to use as a spare on my stove in November and did not need it until March. I installed the igniter and the stove fired right up. It was super easy to install after watching a video. I woke up the next morning to a stove with a dead computer board. Thankfully it turned out to be a blown fuse and the board was fine. I removed the igniter to find that the wire had a open spot on it that was in contact with the stove. After looking at my old igniter and the add from the purchase of this one I saw that the insulation that should be covering the wire is not there to protect it. I contacted the company and was told that because it is past the 90 day warranty they will not cover it. I tried to get them to cover it any way as it is clearly wrong but had no luck. Make sure to check the parts you receive. I will be searching for a different company to buy from as this one let me down.

It bolts in place of the factory unit but is different in design. No instructions but pretty self explanatory. There’s a little metal tab that needs to be bent after installing the igniter in the cage in order to retain it. I just installed it today and it works just fine in our Harmon pellet stove. It arrived ahead of schedule and was well packaged. No complaints

you cant turn the inside of the cage around, so the plate on the top with the screws in it is useless. igniter works fine cage not so good.

The plate that holds the ignitor in was missing from the package as shown in the picture above. The ignitor worked great and fortunately I was able to use the plate from the old assembly to hold the ignitor in place.

Tabs on cradle are too large to fit in slots provided. I don't have tools small enough to enlarge the slots. Thought I could return item but company did not respond to my emails.

Fits perfectly in the Harman P43 and performs well. The stove itself provides very tight clearances for placing the unit but that just requires a bit of trial/error to get everything back together. Note the orientation of the installed igniter before you remove it. You'll want to pull the 2 stove wires forward gently then disconnect the igniter wires from the stove wire connectors. Connect the igniter wires and feed the wires/igniter into the stove opening. Go to back of stove and gently pull the 2 white wires to the rear. Stop when you hear the new igniter cage rattle. Position the igniter cage w/ igniter and attach with the 2 orig. screws. Check that the wires are feeding out through the air inlet tunnel - adj. if necessary so they're well below the actual burn chamber.
