I trash-picked a Chapin 8201 that had a bad gearbox, I was able to replace it with this SaltDogg Gearbox. It wasn't a perfect fit, I had to drill out the holes to fit the slightly larger spinner shaft through the spinner plate and bottom of the hopper. The axle shaft diameter was perfect, no modification was needed there.I'm happy, I've got myself a functional spreader at 1/3 retail cost.
