My P-touch 1890 came with a standard, 18mm wide tape. I've found that these 12mm(~1/2 in) non-OEM replacement tapes to be a better size for labeling folders and are less obtrusive on other items yet still easy to read. A good value.

I have a somewhat old Brother label printer, so I wondered if these would fit and work. From the description it looked as if they should. They did. Perfectly. The physical fit is identical to the EZ tapes. The print quality is good. If there is a difference anywhere, the center split in the backing to reveal the adhesive side seems to take a tiny bit more bending to get it to open.The only thing I can't comment on at this point is the longevity of the print and adhesive, but I don't expect any surprises there based upon physical inspection.A good buy.

I've been searching for a reliable and affordable solution to keep my labeling game strong. And let me tell you, this 4-pack of 12mm laminated tape has exceeded my expectations in every way!First of all, the black on white color combo is sleek and easy to read - perfect for labeling everything from files to storage bins. The tape itself is a breeze to install, and it's compatible with my trusty PT-D210 printer. I've always used the name-brand tape on my P-Touch and am very used to how it looks and feels. This BPXX Replacement tape seems to be an exact match. The test of time will tell how exact the match is. The picture I included is an application to plastic and clean steel. The labels adhered well with no signs of lifting. The cartidge fit well in the machine, printed and cut the same as I was used to. The backing has a slit down the center like the name-brand and peels off about the same. So, for now, five stars!

Much to my surprise, these cartridges are superior to the original Brother cartridges. The tape is a brighter white, the adhesive is stronger and the backing is easier to peel off.Printing is a dark solid black and the tape does not have any significant curl when printed.The first picture shows the cartridges are identical.The second picture shows how dark the printing is. The rough edges are due to the printer and the enlargement.The final picture shows how much whiter this tape is compared to the Brother tape. The top tape is the Brother tape, the bottom is this tape.I would definitely recommend these cartridges for any general use labeling job.

These are working good so far. I like that the tape is glossy just like the tape my label maker came with. I say that because some tapes have a matte finish. Another good feature is that the tape is split on the back-side which makes it easy to peel the adhesive off. All in all, a good product and having a 4-pack of these ensures that I'll never run out!

It's an off brand label tape for the label maker. So far I've had no issues with print quality or adhesion. Will see how end of roll behaves and will update with any quality concerns should they appear. Looks like I will know that very soon, too, since in-laws want me to bring over label maker so they can use it! So far, appears to be very good value!
