My first archery target bag was many years old and the bag itself was rotted to pieces, the filling material just needed a new home and this worked perfectly. It wasn't even the same bag but it had plenty of stuffing. Before filling the new bag I put a heavy duty trash bag in it for the filling to go in, it made it easier to velcro shut by squeezing the air out and tieing the inner bag shut first.
