Replaced my kids fire tablet battery after it wouldn't hold a charge. If you ever get to a point where you can move the battery, a simple test you can do is lay it flat on a surface and if it has any wiggle or a bulge in it that allow is not to lay flat. The battery has expanded and is no longer good.Used this replacement and it's still works perfectly a year later 👌

Bought this to replace the battery in my Kindle that kept shutting off on its own even though it was charged. At first, it worked great, then it started draining quickly, from 100% to 20% in a matter of a few hours just from reading. Now it won't charge past 50% and dies in less than 1 hour after being unplugged.

For the do it yourselfers I have to say that it's almost easy but, there are some tabs further in the will give someone some trouble. As for the battery hehe it is held in place with double sided tape. You may want to use the wooden ruler to go between the battery and the metal backing. Lots of luck.

Initial Review - watched Youtube video on how to take HD10 Pro/Non-Pro (11th Gen) Fire tablet and the hardest part of swapping battery was the double sided glue. I shimmy it using very thin plastic spatula (plastic so if you poke battery you have less chance of shorting and setting it on fire)... Kit comes with 4 strip of double sided tape to re-glue battery (u only need to use 2) and all the pry tools. There is no need to remove battery tray as you can just push it apart with some gentle finesse.. When installing keep the writing on battery visible and make sure the red cables on connector are facing left when looking at them.Battery came pre-charged to 53% out of box and will see after multiple cycles (as the instruction state) it should get longer life. Overall this is very easy tasks to get some extra life from older electronics.

The instruction video for changing this battery was only moderately helpful. The plastic tool used to take off the back cover broke before the back was able to be removed completely. After a great deal of frustration and pinched fingers the cover came off. The original battery was glued fast and nearly impossible to get out. Once the new battery was reconnected and the case back on., I touched the on button to power it up and saw it produce the fire logo on the screen... for about 10 seconds. Then nothing... plugged it in for 2 hours and again... nothing. Now I have a battery that doesn't charge and a useless kindle. If I could have given this product a negative 10 rating I would have. I lost the probe of the item and the cost of a new Kindle.

I replaced the battery for my daughters ipad with this instead of buying a new one. It charges well and is holding up fine.

Good to get but it doesn't give the 'new battery' feeling the other gave
