My circle pad broke off after 11 years and I was so happy to discover this shop carried a replacement piece in my favorite color! It is slightly smaller than the original but it feels identical and there are 0 issues. Installation only took 15 minutes, this was so worth it! Couldn’t be any happier.

Just know, it takes very specialized equipment and knowledge to effectively replace this thumb pad. I was not able to find a game shop willing to do this for me. I had to DIY something from over-bake clay, which turned out decently. The product is probably fine for the people who know how to do it, but this is not a simple pop-it-on-and-go solution.

I got this to replace the worn out thumbstick on a secondhand 3DS. It was fairly easy to install, fits well, and the material feels nice.

From the reviews and photos on this replacement part I assumed it was the original soft silicone and same size. It's not. It's hard plastic and about the size of a shirt button. I was very disappointed by what I received. I do not recommend.

The grip is a decent quality, but you do need to open the console to replace the grip. That's the only takeback of it!

This joystick was super quick and easy to install using a #00 screwdriver, following the instructions on ifixit to open the console.Once you get the console open, carefully remove the plastic washer, hook one of the old joystick's notches through the hole, and gently push/twist it out through the front of the console. Install the new one the same way- hook into the hole, and twist it in with gentle pressure. Then replace the plastic washer and close the console back up. Took about 10 minutes total.It feels just like the original joystick texture wise, but looks brand new. The color is a lovely soft pastel pink, which matches my 3ds' theme perfectly! Highly recommend for anyone looking to bring some new life to their old 3ds 🥰

It's slightly smaller than the original, but this one gets the job done. Inserting the analog replacement was the easy part. Getting that 3DS XL open was the difficult part. The screws were tight! Anyways! I can play my games again!
