This kit contained all the parts necessary to repair my failed pressure regulator. The pipes were screeching and waking our newborn (and us); it was quite alarming until we figured out the problem. We found the gaskets/o-rings in our 15-year-old pressure regulator had mostly disintegrated. The repair was fairly simple and saved me hundreds of dollars. The repair has now been in place for 3 months or so without issue. Highly recommend!

My big issue is the rebuild kit was missing the large spring shown in the picture, listed in the description and shown in the instructions as “*included.” I reinstalled the old rusty spring just to get the pressure reduction valve working after the long delay. It arrived very very late. Package was not as shown. It arrived in a bubble envelope but the box inside was crushed and parts loose in the bag. Main package looked nothing like the picture.

Just what I needed to rebuild my Wilkins 600 regulator. They don't seem to last as long as those made in past decades, so the rebuild kit is a good (although kind of pricey) way to extend their lives.

This was an fairly simple rebuild. The only difficulty that I had was that the regulator was installed in a hard to get to location. The instructions included are easy to follow.

The kit was easy to install and reduces street pressure of 150 psi to 50 psi for the home. I believe I am better off having installed the kit than replacing my 20 year old valve with a cheap off the shelf "brand x" model.
