The Reolink Duo, I think is the highest rated ONVIF/RTSP, non-subscription model camera ever to grace the market. Armed with two camera sensors, it boast 180 degress of panoramic coverage. With one of these installed in each side of their homes, the user can expect total coverage of their homes without any blindspots, day or night, with just four cameras. Not many surveillance systems can say the same, especially without some sort of a gatcha, usually in the form of a proprietary-bound subscription model. This is a 16MP camera, meaning it supports up to 9K in resolution. That's a lot of detail and frankly, not many people can say that they even have the means to own such a display capable of supporting that many pixels on a single screen. It's overkill, and would exhaust legacy and conventional NVR systems to even process it, let alone write to a disk in real time. I wouldn't recommend the user to use that resolution unless the camera was exclusively used for live streams. 1080p would do fine, most do with a lot less even in this day and age.Let's move onto detection. It has an AI powered smart detection, being able to differentiate between cars, people, and animals apart from one another. If you'd rather not bother with all that tech-savviness, then the user can simply turn on motion detection and store all footages that way too. There's a lot the user can do with that. Maybe you don't want to waste disk space by storing footages of the neighborhood cat idling about your yard, so you can simply turn off video recording when an animal has been detected. The possibilities seem endless and it will only get better over time with further firmware updates. The app is amazing. The user can easily pair their cameras with it and it allows the user to configure all facets of the camera from an easy to understand, intuitive UI. Furthermore, it allows two-way talk, give generic programmed responses over voice with no latency issues. The user can view live streams or view past recordings with a flick of a finger all at the attractive price of zero available on both Apple and Android app platforms. The alert system is also incredibly sound, alerting the user of motions or objects detected in real-time, whether they be inside of their home on their WIFI or outside on their carrier's mobile network alike. To close, it's an excellent WIFI security camera. I'd recommend that the user have a mesh network to ensure that the WIFI coverage reaches your camera and two, that the user has an AX WIFI 6 capable router to ensure that no bottlenecks exist within your wireless internal network. 5 out of 5 stars, highly recommended.

I purchased this camera to monitor our parking lot. Connecting the camera to the RLK12-800WPT4 NVR was very simple. It has a number of options for customization, and the image quality is top notch. I've never used a dual-lens camera before, the result of the stitched images is very impressive. The one, small, complaint that I have is the limited vertical adjustment to the camera mount. Having another 10-15 degrees of vertical adjustment would be very beneficial in a number of situations. In our case, I'm missing approximately 5 feet of the lot that, with a bit more adjustment, would easily cover it all.

This is my 13th Reolink "active" camera. Really like the wide angle view! Can finally see entire backyard. Connected to network via WiFi and to my ReolInk RLN36 NVR. So far everything works great. Will upgrade front camera to one of these later. The RLN36 NVR supports up to 6MP but that is not an issue for me as 16MP over WiFi is not ideal.Reason for 4 stars is Reolink changed the initial setup. Usually I can just scan the QR to add to the app and setup WiFi. This camera requires ethernet connection to configure, not QR. Not a major issue but my network switch is in a a hidden location. Not easy to get new cable to it.

Update: the seam in nighttime mode mentioned below has completely gone. Not sure if the camera 'learnt' or if there was an update. The camera is working flawlessly and delivering amazing quality video both night and day.Original:A real powerhouse of a camera! Does the job of two or even three cameras.Setup is simple. I used the Reolink Android app and wired ethernet for initial setup.Picture quality is really excellent with that crazy 180 degree view. For testing, I set it up under a recently installed pair of 4K cameras that -- combined -- come in at around the same price point. The video from the Duo 3 wasn't quite as clear as the individual cameras but does cover more area so that's as good as can be expected.Although this camera stitches two video streams together I was unable to find any seam in the video in daylight. The two sides have slightly different lighting levels with the IR illuminator however, revealing the seam. There are some fine tuning options but alignment was dialed in right from the box.Included is a mount, power supply, flat ethernet cable and a generous ~15' DC power extension cable. The power supply is the usual 12V/2A 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connector wall-wort style. Can be mounted either from above or below the camera body and the camera has standard 1/4" tripod/mount threaded inserts. The mount itself rotates 90degrees vertically so the mounting surface can be horizontal, vertical or anywhere in between.Supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi and I had no trouble picking up a stable 5GHz WiFi 6 connection outside with the AP inside, approx. 70 feet and two walls away.An optional SD card can be installed to record video locally on alerts. Playback through the Reolink Android app works well and clips can be downloaded locally.Motion and people identification works well. There's even an option to adjust sensitivity based on the time of day. Push notifications work well but only work if the camera can see the internet. If operated on a private WiFi network the app works fine but you will not receive push notifications. SD card recording continues to operate however.Note that the extreme wide angle view and 8K resolution can make the resulting video a bit unwieldly.RTMP, RTSP, ONVIF, HTTP and HTTPS are supported but off by default. In the Android app, click on the gear icon, "Reolink Duo 3 WiFi", "Network Information", "Advanced" to enable.Using RTSP I used this flawlessly with Frigate, VLC and tinyCam PRO.With HTTP/HTTPS enabled, the video stream can be seen in a browser and settings adjusted.
