This was a bargain. I got both the shirt and pants for a little more money than one piece individually. The pouch is a nice bonus, but it’s small and not the easiest to use. The arm things are cheap crap and the little metal embellishments kept falling off. But hey you get what you pay for except the shirt and pants were a good costume quality.I bought this for my son who is in that awkward adolescence size where he’s out grown the kid stuff but the smallest adult is too big. We were able to make this work by folding the laced up part of the leg over the rest of the leg and tightening it to keep it in place for his needed length. Lasted all day at Ren faire. Did something similar to the shirt.Will buy another one when the next kid gets bigger.

I do lots of pro theatre costumes and I bought this because I needed a quick cheap costume for a friend for a party. This is AMAZING quality for the price. The fabric feels like cotton. No poly blend. And the accessories look extremely high quality/expensize. I’m highly impressed. This is a good buy if you are considering other options! Will update with pics.

This costume actually isn't too bad. The materials are appropriate for the shirt and pants, and they look just right. The accompanying gear is surprisingly good quality.The belt is straightforward, and simple. In a good way. It has some nice patterning as well. It looks nice and has enough length for most people. I like that it is finished on the inside as well as the outside.The waist bag is an interesting pouch design. I hadn’t seen it before. Once opened, it has more space than you’d expect. The snap is a bit stiff, and kind of hidden (I initially tried to open the pouch from between two other pieces of leather), but will definitely keep it closed when you put stuff in it.And the Bracers are just as quality as the prior pieces. Pretty sure they are real leather as well.In any case... I think they did quite well at producing a standardized version that can be the base for many other looks.

This is a men's Renaissance festival or Halloween costume set that comes complete with all the basic parts of a standard costume, plus faux leather accessories. The included costume pieces are a shirt and pants (both of which are 65% cotton and 35% polyester), a long medieval-style decorated belt, a belt pouch, and two arm bracers with decorative buckle details. The arm bracers are very stiff and I didn't try them on, but they appear to be large enough to fit most adults. None of the lacing comes pre-installed, so you will need to allow time to lace up the pant legs, the tunic neckline, and both arm bracers, as well as snug up the belt pouch. The quality of this set isn't suitable for serious re-enactors, but it is better than most Halloween costume quality, so it should be just fine to attend a Renaissance festival or participate in the occasional LARP. I ordered the navy-blue set, which comes with brown pants and matching brown PU leather accessories. The colors were true to the product description, but the sizing is definitely for taller people. I'm a 5'8" tall plus-sized woman with long arms, and the shirt sleeves and pant legs were both inches too long for me (which is unusual--usually men's clothes are about the right length for me). So I'd guess this set would easily fit people over six feet tall. The shirt has button cuffs and theoretically the sleeves can be rolled up and secured with button tabs, but due to the cuff construction (lack of a long enough placket), the sleeves couldn't roll up past my forearms. The pants have pockets, and a functional drawstring to customize the fit, as well as lacing above the ankle (which wasn't tight enough on me to prevent the pants from sagging down over my heels). A good starter set.

Perfect for Renaissance fair. He wore it all day comfortably, looked really great and authentic. Material was fantastic! Worth the price! Fit was perfect.

Tons of compliments on the fit. I think I had what kids call the "rizz Ohio". Although the leather worker who specialized in belts could easily spot my amazon get up and I replaced the belt. But all in all a 7/7.Banana added for scale.

Perfect for Renaissance festival costume even saw a few others donning the same outfit and for good reason! Material feels quality and has that vintage texture. Was warm in 81 degree Fahrenheit sunny day but not overly so. Typically wear large and so I bought large and it fit perfectly.The bracers, belt and pouch also felt and looked great and the straps were sturdy even though I was rough with them. Awesome base for a costume and will save you money you can spend on other accessories and gear!
