This fob looks and feels like an OEM keyfob, with the exception to that being that the Chrysler logo on the back cover is not there. It comes with a battery already installed and ready to go.On the fob I received, there was a slight manufacturing defect with the emergency key. It was mounted into the key ring holder slightly crooked, so removing and inserting the key into the fob body requires a bit more force than my OEM fob, though it's not a deal breaker. I just have to remember to press a bit harder when inserting it into the fob, making sure that it clicks in order to confirm that it locks in place.Be forewarned that getting this programmed MIGHT be close to impossible, depending on your area. I've had this for quite some time now, hoping to do a full review on it, however that is not going to be possible it seems. For my vehicle, a 2019 Pacifica, the fob is not user programmable. It requires special tools in order to program it to the vehicle, as you have to be able to bypass Chrysler's "Security Gateway Module" in order to write the Fob's details into the computer of the van. Unfortunately, I've exhausted all the options in my small town. Ace Hardware can't do it, local locksmith can't do it, and the local Chrysler dealership refuses to do it because I didn't purchase it from them.Before purchase, you may want to check out the website on the card they include with the fob. You can find the card in the pictures I've attached. Look up your vehicle on the seller's website and find out if you can program this fob to your vehicle yourself, or if it falls into the category of needing to be programmed by a dealership or similar entity. If you can't do it yourself, ask around to verify that one of your local businesses or dealerships is willing and able to program this to your vehicle. It's unfortunate that I didn't have this information prior to purchase, or I probably would not have bothered getting it.
