This is RC car has some notable pros, but it fails the key question: is it fun. This little car is quick and it seems like it is made to survive repeated crashes. It has a unique feature in which the the body "folds" so it either runs at full length or shortened. It comes with a remote that is already paired with the car and two rechargeable batteries for the car (the remote takes two AA batteries that are not included). The tires and clearance are good, allowing it to be used on a variety of surfaces. However, the main feature, the rotating front wheels, are also its downfall. With the remote, pushing the keypad left or or right causes the front wheels to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. To clarify, the wheels don't simply point to the right or left, as with a standard car. Rather, the entire axle rotates, which flips the car over. This results in some crazy stunts and a somewhat manic performance. And that's fun for a few minutes. The problem is that the user doesn't really control the car. For example, you can't merely drive it around because you can't steer it. Pressing left or right on the remote flips the front of the car over. That's it. There is a button that puts the car into a demo mode, where it flops and flips around like a fish out of water. But, again, the user does not control that. In the end, my grandson grew bored with it quickly and it likely will remain on a shelf like a forgotten doll in Toy Story.

I bought one for my 5 year old grandson. This stunt car is so easy to control with non stop action, in their outdoor spaces. The car is so durable, over rocks, and down steps, all types of terrain. I recommend hands down. Enjoy.

This car is really cool! When you open the well packaged car, you'll see that it comes with 2 chargeable batteries. you can always have one charging while using the other one. It does take 2 AA Batteries, as well as the rechargeable battery. It also comes with the little screwdriver to get the batteries in and out. After that's all done, it's time to play! This thing is so fun! It twists and turns and flips and gave my grandkids a couple hours of fun. It doesn't work as well on the grass though, as it does on the carpet or patio. I'd definitely get another for the kids, it's built really well and provided hours of fun!

Really entertaining for my 4 year old and would give it five stars but for the battery issues. So first with the positives, this is a really creative remote controlled car. It is a bit hard to describe but does not work as a normal remote control car. So the back wheels are typical and just move forward and backwards. But instead of the front wheels turning left and right, instead the entire front part turns on an axis flipping itself completely over. So you don't really turn the car, but instead flip the entire thing over to turn left and right, and if you are moving while you flip, it likely will flip the entire car upside down. At that point moving back and forward is reversed because you are upside down. The other interesting part is the front and back have a hinge between them, so the car collapses when you back up, and expands when you move forward adding another twist. The entire thing ends up feeling like its a creature rather than a car, as it moves erratically somewhat like an animal and is a real blast for the kids to watch and chase with an adult driving.I would for these reasons give it 5 stars if not for the huge downside the battery. So first the battery life is really bad. There is only one lithium battery so it runs out quite fast. The other huge issue is you don't just plug the remote control car in via USB-C like many others. Instead, if you see from my photo, you have to unscrew the battery lid (which I need the screw as I also have a 1 year old) and then take the rechargeable battery out and replace it. It was really a good idea that they give you two, so you can charge one while you use the other, and perhaps this is why the battery is removable because they realize the battery life is so low, but I think it would be greatly improved if perhaps it could just fit like 4 of those batteries at the same time so it lasted longer. I'd say it lasts about 10-15 minutes. Finally though after unscrewing it, you'll find the battery compartment is strangely shaped so it always take a couple minutes to shove the battery in at just the right angle to fit so the lid can be placed over. I don't know why it is designed so that it doesn't fit the battery that it comes with easily. Because the battery replacement is such a huge issue having such a short play time, I would think it would be easier.

It's my fault. Clearly, I did not read the description well enough, but I was sure this toy came as a set of two. I think what happened is that one of the box sides shows two different cars, in two different colors. The power of visual over words, I guess!That said, in spite of there being only 1 car, that single car is pretty unique. It is hinged so it can flip and right itself. It has huge wheels for its size, so you can use it outside on dirt or low grass, and it will keep going. The remote is intuitive and easy to manage for an adult or child.Again, I probably was not fair to the toy by giving it only 4 stars instead of 5, since it was my error in reading the description, but perhaps the manufacturer should put two pictures together on the box, either. So the package printing is 3 stars and the toy itself is 5 stars, with a combined total of 4.

I am 68 years old and fly RC aircraft on a regular basis. Figured I'd give this toy a try.I didn't like it and initially planned to give it a poor rating, but then I turned it over to a 10-year-old boy and his 14-year-old sister. They both loved it! They couldn't put it down and they both felt it deserved a 5-star rating.So, my rating reflects the reaction of the children that this toy is targeted for.
