My daughter loved this. Part of her Christmas gift. She is a VW fan and this little case was perfect to store things in.

This is a review for Remote Control Bus 2.4G Remote Control 1962 Volkswagen Classic Bus with Decals Retro Truck Model with Lights Sound Electric Vehicle Playsets Cars for Kids Toy.This little hippie RC van is so cool. I didn’t grow up in that era but it’s still a way to sit back and imagine living a life back then. The RC comes with several stickers to customize it. The remote is very responsive and the lights and sounds add a unique element to it. The engine sound isn’t like the VW sound but it’s still pretty cool.

This is so cool for a vintage bus. It works well and seems pretty sturdy. I just love the design. Simple to use.

I gave this remote controlled VW bus to my husband for Christmas. After reading the instuctions he began "playing" with it and he had a blast. It turns, goes forward and backward. I always try to give him a unique gift and this one fits the mold. It does light up and makes an engine sound too. It seems to be pretty sturdy and fits in with the other older retro trucks that he has.

Review for: Spobot Remote Control Bus 2.4G Remote Control 1962 Volkswagen Classic Bus with Decals Retro Truck Model with Lights Sound Electric Vehicle Playsets Cars for Kids ToyBus Type: 1962 VWI was excited about this VW bus as I have a 1986 VW Van and collect VW model vans. I was worried when I received the box which had buses on it and the City Bus on the side was check-marked. Luckily inside was the VW van I was hoping for.The box includes the VW van, remote, 2 rechargeable batteries for the van, USB charger (no adapter), and the manual. One of the batteries smelled like burning electronics out of the box, so I didn't use it.The remote requires 2 AA batteries (not included) and a mini Phillips screwdriver (not included) to open the battery compartment (and the one in the van too). The remote battery box also has a clip that is really stiff and difficult to open. I ended up using a slot screwdriver to pop it open. Some RC cars now have compartments that don't require a screwdriver so there are no screws to lose either, so I would suggest that as a future improvement. This VW van has a white top and red bottom with oriental paintings on the sides. There are 10 windows in the roof, and 5 down each side. The plastic grey mirrors move. The front has a split front windshield, and headlights that turn on only when going forward. I think it is supposed to say "BUS" on the front, but looks more like "BJS". The back has taillights but they don't turn on, and the license plate reads "8888". The rear trunk opens for storage, but none of the other doors open. When turned on, it makes a "tweet-tweet" sound and an LED inside about halfway back alternates between red and blue lights. The red/blue lights continue to flash as long as the power is on, and can be seen out all the windows. The left button on the remote needs to be pressed to start up the van with start-up engine sounds, and then the controllers will work for forward/back and left/right. When in forward motion, there are driving noises. When stopped, it makes idling sounds. When reversing, it beeps. When you press the start/stop again, it will choke a bit before shutting the van down (funny as I had cars that did this in real life!) The right button has the sound of a horn honking, and long-press it to shut off the idling and driving sounds (whew! they get annoying fast!)The middle button on the remote is a demo mode, so be sure you have enough space to move around before pressing it.Overall, I am happy with this VW van. It's a bit different than most RC cars the way it needs to be "started" with the left button before it will drive. It's cool to have sounds, but nice to be able to turn them off. Perhaps the sounds could be made to be a lot less annoying.

Nice little RC bus that the grandkids will find entertaining. Just like grandma had back in the day. Lights up and has motor and gear sounds as well as a horn. I was able to run it indoors on carpet, but it rolls faster on a hard flooring surface such as hardwood or linoleum.

For old VW bus this thing's pretty cool. It's pretty quick tons of features. Only thing I would say that is the con is that you cannot turn the engine noise off when you're trying to drive it. So no matter what, if you're moving, It will be making a revving noise kind of like a race car, but this is a Volkswagen bus remake and they've never made that sound. Other than that, it's cool. Little RC, especially for the younger kids

I really like this RC. I love the fact that it looks retro, even though, I am certain, my nephews have no idea how cool it really is. It comes with a ton of stickers that you can apply to embelish the van. It also comes with two rechargeable batteries, the charging cord, and the remote. The remote is pretty straightforward, very easy to use. It works the van from a decent distance and the van can move pretty quickly. It goes best over very smooth terrain. It can go on low nap carpet, but does much better on flooring such as tile, hardwood or laminate. I am not sure if my nephews appreciate the throw back, but I love it. This would make a great gift if you have any children who love unique things.

This is a fun little car. It is definitely different and you don’t loose track of it when there are multiple cars in use. It has a nice range on the remote. It is a little prone to falling on its side if you get the speed up high. I think this could be fixed by adding some weights. ( I was told this by a person that is really into rc cars). I’m not positive about the weight or placement. I just take it slower or go set it upright. I think it is fun.

Having devoted more than three decades of his life to the intricate world of automotive mechanics, my father's unwavering passion for Volkswagen is nothing short of legendary. Throughout the years, he has tinkered with countless cars and buses, establishing himself not only as a skilled mechanic but also as a devoted collector of Volkswagen Westfalias and Beetles. In a whimsical twist of fate, I decided to surprise him with a unique and lighthearted gift—a miniature version of his beloved Volkswagen van. The carefully curated box contained not just the replica VW van, but also a remote control, two rechargeable 3.7v batteries to power the van, a USB charger cable with an adaptor (sans power block), and a comprehensive manual for a seamless experience.Operating the remote is a breeze, requiring only two AA batteries (which, regrettably, are not included). The left button initiates the van's start-up engine sounds, setting the stage for the controllers to govern its movements—forward, backward, left, and right. Engaging forward motion results in realistic driving noises, while coming to a halt prompts authentic idling sounds. Reverse, and the van emits a distinctive beep. Pressing the start/stop button again introduces a touch of realism, as the van momentarily chokes before gracefully shutting down. On the right side of the remote, a honking horn sound is activated, with a long press serving as a convenient switch-off for idling and driving sounds. Lastly, the middle button unleashes the demo mode, urging users to ensure ample space for the van's autonomous movements.Remarkably nimble and snappy for a toy, this miniature marvel surprises with its quick responsiveness and a steering system that boasts impressive accuracy. A centering lever located on the car's bottom ensures alignment issues are swiftly corrected, adding a thoughtful touch to its design. While it may not boast impeccable build quality, its affordable price tag is justified by the plethora of features it packs. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this remote-controlled car for its sheer entertainment value. Whether you're shopping for a budding R/C car enthusiast or seeking to amuse an established collector of vintage automobiles, this Volkswagen replica promises hours of joy and a playful nod to the automotive legacy your loved one holds dear.

This is a full function RC car with forward, reverse and steering. The car is not-proportional which means the controls for steering and acceleration are on/off. The car comes with 2x 3.7V battery for the car as well as a USB charger which you can plug into a power brick (not supplied). The controller uses 2x AA batteries which is not included. The car is surprisingly quick for a toy. Steering is quite responsive and it has a centering lever on the bottom of the car to correct alignment issues. The car comes with an interior flashing red and blue light. The exterior has working headlights and they activate when the car is in motion. The car also makes sounds corresponding to its motion and steering. If you don't want the sound, the right-hand button can be long pressed to mute the car.Overall, this is a nice rc car for kids. The plastic materials are quite durable and will be able to withstand a few crashes.
