If like me, you're looking for a way to dampen your drums, these silent stroke heads are not for you. They are made for those that need to be absolutely quiet when playing. And I mean, zero sound.These heads are amazing. If you're Ok with absolutely zero tones from your drums, these heads are for you. They do the job of silent strokes no less than perfect, this means that you just can't hear yourself paying. At all!The base drum head was a very bad experience for me. It was like my beater was inside a bouncy house. No joke. It was very difficult to make clean, single hits with my pedal. And the head wasn't even that tight, tension rods were barely tightened.Had to return them and purchase e-rings instead. Ahhh! The sound of my drums was back!

If you're looking for quiet the DEFINITELY do the job. Rebound can be controlled by tightening or loosening the heads. Of you find they're TOO quiet or lack attack (like I did) throw some Remo Falam Slams on them. It'll give them tone, and attack with exceeding 80dbs

Bought these for hubby. Really mute s the sound of my 2 year old Brandon's drum solos😆 Hubby seems pleased.
