Raw copper is drawn to meet specific size requirements based on the National Electrical Manufacturer’s Association (NEMA) standards. This magnet wire meets the NEMA MW-80-C standard for operating temperature (155°C/311°F) and insulation makeup. The insulation is made from modified Polyurethane with a polyamide overcoat, and protects the coiled wire from short-circuiting.

Use it on multicopters to replace all the wiring between the batteries/ESC and motors. Eliminates a lot of weight. Easy to solder. The enamel coating just burns off when you tin the ends. The coating has been extremely durable.

It was like I was going to receive a box of gold bars. It was taped up like when you do registered mail, and then inside the wire was bubble wrapped and taped up. As far as I can tell the wire is good no breaks or anything like that.

I have been searching for a source of magnet wire for various experiments in coil winding. This is the very best for the money I have been able to find. Quality is excellent, price low (less than half the competition) and the service from Remington superb. The only reason I rate them 5 stars is I can't rate them 10. If you have any requirement for magnet wire check here first.
