Remflex DIY Gasket Sheet material is an outstanding high temperature material. In addition to high temperatures, it is also resistant to oils, solvents and chemicals. Its uses are limited only by your imagination and fabrication skills. With this in mind however, the customer is still responsible for all engineering in regards to qualifying the functionality of Remflex Gasket Material Sheets used in their particular application. Remflex DIY Material is soft and compressible therefore it requires less torque than other materials to seat properly. Please use care when tightening down. The material can crush down to 1/16" thick but will normally seal long before that. If this material is over-torqued you can crack it and create a leak. Remflex's unique flexible graphite material has been proven for more than 30 years in industrial applications, where temperatures routinely exceed 2,000 degrees-day after day, week after week, year after year. For over 10 years we have been bringing this technology to automotive enthusiasts of all kinds to eliminate exhaust leaks for good!.

I made a gasket with this on the exhaust manifold of a 6.7 power stroke. Been holding like a champ for a month now.

Replaced the muffler on my truck and when i got done i had a leak at the flange connection. I bought a new gasket, put it on and it still leaked. Then i found this gasket material and it did the trick. I had no idea this stuff existed.

I had this gasket installed on my downpipe in July, i notice during my tuning session something was off with the afr. And smell fumes. I did a smoke test and saw smoke where i installed the gasket. On the package it says it will be good 3000°. My turbo get up to able 1700° needless to say, the gasket was gone and disintegrated. I reach out to the manufacturer multiple times through email. They have not responded. No way this is good for exhaust or downpipe

This stuff is an absolute God-send! I've used it on several different exhaust applications. The first time was a cheap no-name SS header that wouldn't seal on the head side flanges or the downpipe flange. And this last time was an o2 sensor flange that had corroded away after 26yrs of service. Glad I saved my scraps from the first time, bc one cutout was perfect size for this o2 sensor flange gasket fix.I'm soooo glad I found some old hot rodders talking about this stuff in an online forum discussion! In 20+ years of car work I'd never heard of anyone mention it. Some guys talk about stacking laminated gaskets- and I have done that, but they always blow apart bc exhaust pressure eventually gets between the layers. Well it's been 3yrs and 14k hard miles on my cheap header setup (no flex pipe) and the material has held up beautifully, without blowouts.A warning - BE CAREFUL HANDLING AND CUTTING! This material is delicate af and WILL CRUMBLE if you bend it in the slightest! That said, it can crack a little and still seal just fine, if you get it in place and snug. But also, DON'T OVERTIGHTEN! It can squish out of your mating surfaces, since it's pure (soft) graphite without any mesh.I highly recommend buying a sheet to keep on hand, even if you don't need it immediately. Because that late night project might get stalled or completed, depending on whether you have a solution. It totally saved my a.ss finishing my truck exhaust at 3am and driving the next morning.

For close to 30 dollars I would expect the corners to be true and straight anyways. It's the best gasket material I know of so I'll probably end up ordering it again

Bought this sheet of Remflex to make my own Gaskets for the Header to Cat Flange during a JBA Shorty Header Install. The provided JBA gaskets in their kit are thin and feel cheap so I used those as Templates for cutting on the Remflex Sheet. Used an exacto knife and did pretty well with extra left over for more gaskets in the future. For the Header to Block Connections, the Percy/Taylor ‘Seal for Good’ Gaskets are amazing, as well.2002 Tundra V8 4.7L Engine with stock exhaust adding JBA Shorties. Its been a little over a year since and the gaskets are holding nicely. Do it!

This stuff is incredible. Way easier to use than basically every other brand out there, and seals where other gaskets don't. I wont use anything else now.
