You have to be extremely careful with this material, it is fragile, delicate. Do not drop it or bend it. Works well if you don’t mangle it.

All of my previous paper gaskets burned out due to a bent section in my collector flange. These were just pliable enough to seal around that bend.

Stop looking elsewhere. Just stop. These are thick and juicy. Clamp and seal very well to solve your crappy weld job.

I used to be a fan of the dead soft aluminum gaskets for my collector and header flanges. Bought my usual Percy's for my brand new headers and both collector flanges leaked. Pulled them out and they're no longer the "dead-soft" aluminum and were so hard that I could not see a full circle depression that typically makes a seal.I put these Remflex gaskets on in their place and they sealed perfectly without overtightening.

Installed these on a 42DD turboback on my MK4 1.8t since the previous thin gaskets were leaking. These are awesome and my go to. The amount they squish when torquing down is great and will definitely prevent any leaks from happening. They are fragile so be careful when installing
