The gasket itself is great and fixed my leak on an imperfect manifold. However, I had to order 2 times to get one that wasn't cracked upon arrival. They just need better packaging.

I pulled this out of the package and accidentally dropped it from waist height. It fell on one end and exploded into pieces. I could see this thick material sealing well, but it is too ridiculously fragile. I bet if I hadn’t dropped it I would have been disappointed with it breaking during install anyway. I’ll use the cheap one with some RTV. It’ll seal fine, it won’t break so easily, and it’s like half the price. What a waste…

Unfortunately, this gasket is fragile. Instructions say do not use any gasket adhesive so when the gasket slid off the manifold and dropped 2 feet onto my garage floor, it bent and cracked. I then visited my neighborhood auto parts store and bought a Felpro combination intake/ exhaust gasket Used adhesive to hold it in place. It didn’t wilt under pressure like the Remiflex. Felpro gasket worked like a charm. The Remiflex is too fragile to be practical and it is double the cost of Felpro. Disappointed but lesson learned

If you have a Ford inline six, this is the exhaustintake gasket you want. It will seal this hard to seal engine.

This is the thick compressable gasket, the one that stops manifold to head leaks.

It is not the product but the packaging that needs to be corrected. Twice had to return the product because the packaging did not protect the product. Taking shortcuts in proper packaging leads to damages to the product. Please check quality control in the packaging.
