This works well in too cold conditions…Left in the unheated shop, sub-freezing temperatures…Opened er up and worked perfectly…This stuff spreads on THIN…Don’t gob it up all over the place…Brush it on and it’ll stay slick much longer than needed to swap the tire…I would say to apply thin to the seating surfaces of the rim/bead…It’s like a grease that spreads as thin as oil, so when I had to seats the frozen tires, they slid right up on the bead and seated perfectly, it just pops nicely into the seating surfaces/bead and even sounded different than when done dry, t’was like a perfect seat every time!!Not sure if it would freeze though in the mid winter cold, but a week or so into sub freezing temperatures it had not crystallized and frozen up.This amount is a generational supply for any diy user

The product works well but wish it came in a smaller package. I'm just a private individual who occasionally needs to get into a tire to change the tire pressure senser. This jug will probably last forever and need to be put into my will.

I got this because it was recommended for the bead sealer ring that I bought. I tried the standard liquid tire mounting lube with no success. It dried too fast. This compound is about the consistency of Vaseline. It stayed slippery long enough to allow the ring to pop out when it should and made mounting difficult tire a breeze.
