I've had the same pair of Tech 12 MKIIs for decades. They are in storage and I snapped I decided I need a new turntable. I did my research and finally ruled in favour of the RP-7000 after seeing a video of DJ Jazzy Jeff using them (if they're good enough for Jazzy Jeff...)Verdict: I like this turntable. It looks and feels like Tech-12s. The only thing I find ever-so-slightly annoying is that the little tracking light comes off instead of pushing down into the body of the turntable the way you would on a Tech-12. I know I'm going to lose that thing some day. A common complaint is that it doesn't come with a dust cover or a cartridge. Sure. But have you checked the price of a new Tech-12???

Ich verwende den Plattenspieler an meiner Anlage zu Hause, mit dem Audio Technica AT 120 E Tonabnehmer. Meiner Meinung harmonierren beideKomponenten hervorragend miteinander.

It's a great product, the amount of torque is awesome, I'm a turntablist and I would choose these over technics and pioneer, but here's why. Technics can only go to 8+ and -8 on pitch, they don't have reverse and with pioneer you don't get the same technics feel. I wouldn't give it 5 stars and here's why, there's two start and stop buttons which I have a love hate for. 1, being that I can no longer use dicers, I used them for my 1200's and they were great, but now there is nowhere to place them. 2, you no longer have an easy access to a 45adapter. Which isn't a big deal if you don't plan on getting 45's. But still having the option is nice. On the upside, having two buttons allows me to be able to hit the button closest to me faster. Another reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because of the lack of a headshell. I don't mind the needle as much because most oem turntables today don't ship with one anyways, and if they do they aren't that good. But a headshell I feel is something you should always include. Even if your looking to buy something like a ortofon concorde. Having that headshell is nice if you ever want to get something like a shure m-44. But overall, the durability is great. Feels heavy and solid and noise isolation is at its best. The platter isn't recessed which I like because nothing can get under the platter. But that's just me. And the tone arm is good for easy listening and scratching if you set the weight correctly. Add a headshell and this gets a 5 star easily.

Just got my 2 Reloop RP-7000's a week ago (sold my Stanton ST-150's) New buyers do your research (Does not ship with a cartridge or cover) Besides everything is great! Looking good.

I’m very impressive with this turntable with your quality finished. Very robust, excellent torque, bi-volt and output selector for turntable mode or pre-amp mode. I’ve been tested some MKs used, Pionner ans Stanton, but I choose Reloop 7000.

It did not come with a head shell. I did not expect a cartridge. But I did expect a head shell. When I finalized the order, I checked the box where it stated ship in an "Amazon Box". That did not happen. The turntable was shipped in the manufacturer's box. I'm happy the turntable was not damaged.

Great turntable. I love the way it powers up. Also, the capability of switching between line and phono is one of the great features of this turntable. Also, no grounding necessary, which seems weird but so far I haven't had issues with static build up.
