This is a nice, understated and classy looking piece of decor. It is as pictured, though the finish is a bit greyer than the warm brown in the product pictures. If you inspect it closely, you can tell that it is not a very expensive item, but from a distance of a few feet it looks very nice. A great way to display some Easter joy in your home!

He has risen, He has risen indeed. I don’t think I have ever seen a better representation of what Easter celebrates. I was surprised when I happened upon this celebration of Christ’s resurrection and I absolutely love it. This will be the center of our Easter Holiday décor. The pieces, (other than the empty cross), are made of a hard wood.I took pictures of the front, back, top and bottom of each piece. As you can see in one of the pictures, there must have been a piece of fluff on one of the pieces of wood during the staining process. I did not count down for this because it really doesn’t matter which side you use. I don’t think I have looked forward to decorating for Easter since the kids grew up. I am excited about using this reminder.

I wanted something to display for Easter that wasn’t a bunny or an egg. It’s like having a crèche set for Christmas, it reminds you of the reason we celebrate. The 3 wooden pieces of the tomb are made of good quality wood that is sanded well and stained nicely. The scripture verse is printed well and is visible. I am not sure why the manufacturer decided to then go with a cross made out of pressed board that looks like it was cut with a jigsaw and has no finish. I was a little disappointed by that piece and wished the cross had been made with the same quality as the other pieces in the set.

I find this simple wooden decoration to be a lovely reminder of the meaning of Easter for my home. It is basic with 4 pieces that when put together convey the Easter message beautifully. Each piece is done in varying shades of brown with smooth edges in a size that works well on a tabletop, desk or mantle. The Easter message from Matthew that is printed on the stone is appropriately and says all that there is to be said about a Christian's belief about the resurrection of our Lord. I think this is great for home use or for sharing with a Bible Study group or Sunday School class, so I recommend it.

The four separate pieces allows you to set up the scene as you like for your space. The description is not exactly accurate, "Every piece is crafted from high-quality wood with excellent workmanship" is what it claims. The cross is actually pressboard, not high-quality wood, which you can see if you zoom in on the picture in the ad. That doesn't really take away from the overall look, though, just strikes me as odd since the other pieces are cut wood. Is it overpriced at the current price of $16.99? Probably. Is it an Easter decoration that you can keep up all year? Yes. The simplicity of the pieces and shapes are appealing and this is what earns it the five star rating.

Very happy with this beautiful Easter decoration. It arrives as 3 separate pieces that you can arrange in whatever way suits you. The wood is solid and simple and looks great assembled.
