Not thick enough. Toilet just flattened it and leaked. I bought two, so tried the second one and same thing. After removing it a 3rd time I broke the seal I’m the tank and needed to buy a new toilet. Trying to save a buck cost me a lot.

My plumber asked me to get a wax ring for new toilet install. I purchased this. He wouldn't use it saying it was too thin. I certainly wouldn't know, but relied on the brand. Lesson learned.

I replaced all toilets in a rent house with these 1.5 months ago. Within the last week we've had two backups due to a break and roots in between the house and street. These reinforced wax rings did not leak at all even though the static water level in the system was above the rings for a couple of hours. Toilet water backed up into the bathtub but not a drop leaked out through the reinforced wax rings. I've had instances in the past under similar circumstances where sewer water was able to leak past non-reinforced rings.

Stopped our leaking toilet - easy to install, just follow the instructions. It's been on for over a month now - no problems. 20+ year old house and toilet with cut out hardwood floor for placement.
