I have used old reflective for years--- this is an up grade.first i finally did the inside of the garage door. easy job, cut and stuff. only one piece needed a little tape.I live in the PNWhouse faces east.(neighbor randomly cut down perfectly nice tree because men like to play with chainsaws---- )garage now warmer --- will help with heat in the summer.the big problem was the front door.the storm door does not fit tight, front door does not fit tight.this is the hard to find width that fits!!!!! I use the sticky velcro tape , the shield goes up when its cold , or hot , or when the cold east wind is blowing---- like today.I use the old reflective shields in the windows, pull the insulated blinds down and the 25 year old house stays nice and warm for a house built by a cheapo builder in the PNW.now that the summers are warmer I use it to keep the house cool from the hot sun.this stuff is a miracle.the up stairs bedroom windows are also covered.I am very careful to air and dry the house out! to prevent mold. many people- ( my neighbors_) skip this step--- be sure to open your house and dry it well spring, summer and fall.

Great product and versatile. I bought this to cut into shape to cover my fish tanks in my aquaponics lab to help keep the water cool in the summer and to hold in heat during the winter. One thing to be noted, the clear plastic lining does degrade and come off after being in the water but that was not what it is made for. I am still able to use it without the lining just fine.

This product is perfect for even the most adhd person. I ordered it, cut it to size based on a quick eyeballing, and installed it without any instructions. It’s perfect for X-large windows, a couple large windows, or multiple small windows. It cuts to size very easily. I’m very pleased with this. Seems to be doing a good job keeping the heat in, too.

Was hoping that this would product water barrels that are outside. They work beautifully and were easy to use. I would recommend this to those who want items protected against cold and hot weather.

I bought this to insulate the windows of a shed I'm using to keep my plants warm through the winter. There was a definite change in temperature after installing this insulation with caulking to adhere it over the windows. It was easy to cut, and I was surprised to see that there were 3M foam adhesives inside the package. That was a cool bonus. If I don't end up using all the 3M adhesives, I can use them elsewhere.
