I initially got a lead for small dogs, but the clip was still very large and heavy, which I did not like. The clip for this lead is smaller and lighter, which is better for a small cat. I bought one for the front yard and one for the backyard. This allows her to wander almost to the end of both yards, but still remain safe. I’m always outside with her, but I like that I don’t have to be right next to her to make sure that she doesn’t try to run off.

I used this for my very curious indoor cat who was originally a stray. He loves the outdoors and gets anxious being inside all day. Since we have a decent sized yard, we attach one end of the leash to his harness and the other end to our clothesline. It has withstood the weather very well and is lightweight but sturdy.

I bought this for my cat so she can wonder about the garden . I really like the lead the only thing I would say it’s very long which is good but it gets tangled and knots . If it had a device on it that you could release it and bring it in without that happening would be great . I tied a bit of wire in the middle and ribbon after untangling it every time I used it which was a bit of a pain and it stop that from happening.

This leash is PERFECT for hikes with my 5lb pomeranian. There is enough length that he can run around and be a dog while having the ability to reel him in in the event we come across distractions. I also like the illusion of him being off leash without the worry of a large bird taking him (that happens to small dogs where I live.) The leash is made of paracord so it's light enough to not drag him down but has solid hardware that he wouldn't be able to break.

This is perfect for my Ragdoll cat! He loves to come outside with me when I’m gardening but he likes to run up trees after squirrels and get stuck. This has been perfect to let him roam the yard but not reach the trees! It it light weight but strong enough to hold his weight (about 12lbs)

I love this leash! My cat can roam freely in the backyard as if he doesn’t have a leash on. Only thing is that the clasp started rusting a tiny bit within a month of using it. It’s not a huge concern though

This bright orange cable is perfect for letting my cat enjoy the back yard. Since it's so bright I always know where he is. The weight is sturdy but light enough for my cat to really run across the yard. I hook it on to a clothesline between 2 poles for extra reach. I like that when I loop it up to take inside it doesn't get all twisted up an just hangs loosely. One improvement: I use carabiners on the ends to make it quicker to attach and unattach from his harness.
