The books are well made, and somewhat good value for the money spent, but... These are not the ones I am used to... I ordered these thinking they would be the same as I ordered before. Instead of 300 pages, they are each 304 pages - not a terrible thing... the major difference is the cover of the book(s) are smooth and not like the original where it had texture on both front and back covers, (and it bothers me, stupid I know). Between the page counts being different and texture of the covers, I am wondering if this is even the real manufacturer of the book.I'll keep them and use them, but think that I will order directly from the manufacturer the next time and pay more money.

I use it for linguistic fieldwork. The line in the middle of the page is great for writing a transcription on one side, gloss on the other.

I'm not a lawyer, but I've been using these for all my professional notes and planning for 40 years. The page numbers allow me to reference off-page notes easily. The very wide margin makes it easy to go back and add additional notes, annotations or references.I used to have to buy them at law school book stores and campus parking can get difficult and expensive during the school year. Now as I get to page 275 I can place a single click order with Amazon and have my new book before I run out of space in the old one! Even traditional "pencil and paper" folks like me have had our lives made easier by the Amazon service!

We use these notebooks to document results and notes for electrophysiological experiments. The notebooks are heavy duty and hold together well. Highly recommended for maintaining a permanent record (if kept in a fire proof location).

These record books are my absolute favorite: very high quality paper and binding. Look impressive too. I've been using these since I was a student and never found a better product for the money. Buy them in bulk to amortize shipping.
