Basically, it's folded paper in a terribly damaged and then repaired box.

Remember those cheap paper/temporary shades at Lowe's or Home Depot? I had used them years ago when I was packing for settlement to still have shades but I had already packed all of my blinds and shades. Now imagine that kind of easiness but with permanent, lasting, nicer quality ones... that's what these are! In this house (our forever home), I have specific blinds and shades for different windows, but for many of them, I put these up with curtain panels, and they look beautiful. They don't look cheap or classless! Matched with good decor and panels, they really are lovely and add to privacy. LOVE THEM.

Easy to trim with sharp scissors. Inexpensive solution for non-standard window dimensions. It comes with an adhesive strip attached. I wasn't sure if the strip would be strong enough, so I used double-sided tape in addition. Works great. Very nice light-filtering shades.

It was pretty easy to set up. However, the adhesive didn’t even last 12 hours. We noticed the curtain fell down and the adhesive was still partially on the wall but half of it was peeled off and hanging down. So another issue is that the adhesive doesn’t stay stuck on the curtain itself. I imagine we will just be able to fix it if we go buy some strong double sided tape.

When I first received these I thought that I must have received the wrong product! Thought I was sent a replacement part for a shade! But no. I agree with the reviewer who said this is a JOKE! The shades are way to light in weight to drop down and cover the window. So first, you either have to find something at the bottom of your window opening to clip to or devise a way to weigh the thing down. I tried that by using an old wire hangar to make hooks for heavy washers to hang on the clips they send with the shades. The clips are too weak to hold the extra weight and slide off, plus they are smooth and don't grip the shade. So I tried an old trick of wrapping rubber bands around the clips for extra strength. That worked for keeping the weights fastened to the shades and they hung acceptably close to the bottom of the sliding door I was using them on. But then the next morning I had to raise the shades. The instructions (Which are online at their site) say to raise the shades, you simply have to "REPLEATE" them. Now remember we're talking about a sliding door here and the shades go almost to the floor. Try hanging a piece of paper on the wall and folding it back and forth until its above your head! I'm going to do this every day? I don't have a half hour every day to raise a shade. (And dropping it multiple times). Then of course the rubber banded clips can't open wide enough to hold the shade so I had to remove the rubber bands to use the clips to hold the shades! (And remove the washers I used for weights.) So now I would have to put everything back in order to LOWER the shades at night! ( Another half hour)This morning I only put the shades up part way, and they hang like a 4th of July decoration. I am going to remove them and try to find a use for them other than as a shade. Whoever invented this product should be fired! One thing is for certain; I am not going to "REPLEATE" purchasing this again!

I have bought so many of these shades over the last couple years. These shades are great on a budget, and for rooms that it isn't as important to have nicer window treatments. I use them on all our bathroom windows in our primary home as well as in our airbnb property. They let in light while still providing privacy. So easy to install. Just measure, cut with a knife, and peel and stick. For windows side by side, make sure you use the same "side" when installing. The accordian fold is different depending on which side you hang them (either folding in from the top, or folding out from the top), but not too noticeable (see pic). Although the clips are easy to use, it is a bit of a deterrent when it comes to adjusting the height. I basically don't adjust mine at all because it's a bit of a pain. Overall, I would highly recommend for either temporary or permanent window coverings.

These are great for a quick change on your windows. Sheer enough to allow light, but still offers privacy. They are very easy to measure, cut and install; however, the adhesion isn’t always that great. I installed 9, of which 7 have remained in place for several weeks. The others both came off and fell pretty quickly. One I have re-installed a half dozen times and it’s become obvious it’s just not going to stick unless I figure out how to some other adhesive material on it. The other one I’ve just not felt like dealing with, to be honest, since I’ve had so many issues with the other one that failed. That’s about a 20% failure rate on the adhesive. However, for the ease and cost, it’s not anything to get riled up about.I will say the clips aren’t that great. Instead of a cord, you attach 2 plastic clips to the fold corresponding to the length you want. However, that length can change based on the way the thing hangs. I think it works best If when you first install, you attach the 2 clips to the bottom so that the blind can kind of “stretch out.” Then the length tends to remain the same when you clip the blinds up.

This is an adhesive. It'll stick to anything! - Very convenient since I recently moved out, and having my windows exposed made me uncomfortable to where I'd keep looking out my window to make sure no-one was looking in. Brain is still processing the amount of comfort + security of my own place. Very easy for $20, but I don't know if it'll stay since its literally a stick material. Prob best not to mess with it once you install it unless you're making an adjustment

So I bought these for privacy until I can get shades made, they are doing fine. Measurements are right, although that is fully stretched. If you need them for a long window they may not work as they bounce up to just over 1/2 length because of the folds. You could, in theory use doublesided tape on the bottom to keep them fully stretched out...you just couldn't adjust them. The clips are actually more sturdy than the blinds, which are almost felt/ paper-like. They are easy to cut (with scissors) and intallation is a breeze. Allows filtered light, but not see through.
