I built myself a solar battery that consists of different wire gauges and different lug sizes. I definitely needed these 3/8" lugs for my setup that included a battery shunt. That shunt needs 3/8" lugs for my 1/0 wire. These are great quality lugs that are made of copper and they're flanged, so no needing to bundle up your bare wire and cramming them into the lug. And the lug has enough space to actually slide in 1/0 wire and not have to shove them in. I had issues with other 1/0 lugs and i was having to really cram the wire in, which hurt and was very difficult. Crimping these lugs was very easy with the crimp tool I used.Also! The heat shrink tubing that came with it were also awesome. They're big enough to fit around the lug and wire and they shrink well, with glue. This keeps them water tight and adhered really well.

These are very nice ring terminals. They seem to be made of high quality copper and are very easy to work with. They worked great on my boat I used marine grade shrink tube and then used the red shrink tube they provided and it worked great. I had no issues soldering these I would definitely recommend.

I use my hydraulic crimper to attach 8 gauge wires to these lugs, and the results are excellent. They passed the pull test, and I can see that the crimps are perfect. The copper lug forms a perfect hex shape around the wire, nice and tight, without cracks. Excellent lugs, recommended.

I got these to use on my golf cart. It's not as demanding of an application as marine, but corrosion is a problem with golf carts too.Just make sure you have a good, appropriate crimper and you're good to go.
