You force a large tree into a cardboard box that is too small to fit your Christmas tree, and break your back carrying the box in and out of storage. The upright tree storage bag is perfect for artificial Christmas trees that are 9ft. tall or less. Storing your tree upright allows you to keep your tree assembled, cutting your setup and take down time in half. Use with a rolling tree stand (not included) and wheel your bagged tree into storage. Next year, when setting up your tree, simply bunch the bag up at the base of your tree, securing it in the attached tree skirt, and your storage bag will be hidden from sight as if it weren't even on the tree to begin with.

Prior to installing your tree on it's stand, set the bag's center hole over the tree stand so that it's resting on top of your stand's legs.
Pull Up and Around Your Tree When Getting Ready To Store
Fold each branch up into it's fully compressed position, while pulling up the tree bag around the tree.
Cinch The Top of The Bag and Move Into Storage
Tighten the drawstring at the top and compression straps around the sides, and you're ready to move the tree into storage.

I was skeptical about this bag. But it was great when it came time put the tree away. No more smashing the tree back into its retail box. It is standing up in the hall closet waiting for next Christmas. The only down side is it absolutely takes two people to pull it up over the tree. This is my first year using it so I'm not sure if it caused any damage to the tree as it does fit quite snugly. I figure it has to be better than putting it in a box and it stores assembled and standing, not lying on its side. I guess I'll find out in a few months!

We bought a new 7.5'tree from Costco this year and it is very bushy and heavy.I did not want to store it in the original box and so bought a bag from Amazon to store the dismantled tree in. The bag was basically the same dimensions as the box but getting the tree parts into it was an exercise in futility. After trying for some time and using very non-christmas spirit words I gave up and ordered this "store assembled tree" bag. the bag is manufactured from a sturdy "canvas" with light weight nylon at the top allowing that section to be drawn in around the apex. My only gripe so far is that one of the handles was not properly stitched and pulled loose immediately. Do not want to unpack the tree for repair/replacement and so that will wait until next year. Other than that the bag is quite sound and and will work well. Of course this storage method means we have to manhandle a rather weighty 7+ foot tall package which will be a bit more awkward than a 4 foot box, but we will do it.

I wondered if it would really work on my wide 9ft tree. I am happy to say it is much sturdier and well made than I expected. It easily fit my tree, however because mine is really wide, it doesn't fit anything other than the tree so fitting a tree skirt or anything else along the side was not happening. The straps are sturdy and sewn with reinforcement into the bag itself. I didn't rate durability higher as I have not used it multiple years yet....who knows for sure? I rated maneuverability 4 stars as there was no way I could move it on my own. This is mostly due to the size of my tree however. My son who is 6 feet tall was able to move it easily into the garage. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that I do not have to take apart my tree. Even though it is in great condition I was considering getting rid of it due to its size and the annual horror of putting it back together. Now I don't have to worry about that. Oh, as a side note to those that ask and have to worry about occasional critters in the garage....the bottom is very tight to the pole and the top has to no opening at all for anyone to set up a new home. Personally I think the big red santa cocoon would deter them no matter what, but the fit is pretty secure regardless.

This is amazing! It's incredibly well made, and easy to use - you just open it on the floor, and pop the tree on top, raise the sides, and close the ties. Moving it is also easy - it has sturdy handles on the sides at different heights. Once my tree is in the garage, I feel like it's safe for the year, because the material is so strong - nothing affects the tree inside. Love it. Definitely recommend it for storing your Christmas tree, throughout the years.

It is very substantial material and lots of handles for carrying. I'm sure it will last longer than the tree. I have a 7' tree and it fit well with room to spare. A bit of a production for 1 person to fit it in alone, but would be very easy as a 2 person job.

I've read in some of the reviews that this is a difficult bag to store a tree in, the quality is misleading, it's way to big for a 7.5' tree, etc., etc.I didn't find any of these issues with the bag I just received and stored our 11' tree in. So let me be clear - we have an 11' tree (top 2' comes off), and it is a fairly full tree at the lower half. I am a 5' 9" male, and I was able to remove the base as instructed, locate the lower portion of the bag between the base and the bottom of the tree (remember to attach the velcro straps on the base), and fully store the tree, in one piece, in about 10 minutes total by myself. Yes, it takes a bit of patience to slowly raise the bag going up, but it can be done by one person. The top 2' of the tree does NOT fit in this bag, but the remaining 9' fit perfectly, and allowed enough room at the top to properly close the bag and secure the top strap. There is ample room through the girth of the bag to support a moderately wide tree. There are also two long zippers at the bottom and top of the bag to facilitate raising the bag over the standing tree, which then get zippered shut when you've pulled the bag completely up.The quality of the bag certainly is a better value than the $45.00 I paid for it, and looks like it will work for the next few years just fine. The bag is double lined - the interior is a smooth plastic that helps slide the bag over the tree easily, and the exterior is a fabric with half a dozen grab handles in the right places. Let's remember that this bag is for internal storage, and isn't meant to be used for storage where weather can be a factor. It may be water repellant, but it certainly isn't waterproof. The end result is sturdy enough to be carried into a storage area if needed.Lastly, my tree is stored only with the lights that came on it. We don't store bulbs, decorations, ornaments, etc., and to be perfectly frank, I don't really understand why you would want to store a tree in a bag with delicate ornaments in the first place. so for our purposes, this bag is an ideal solution and I would strongly recommend it to others as well.
