I just put a piercing grease nipple on my Dewalt grease gun and pierced my cv boots and gave my cv joints a good greasing. I immediately cleaned the boot and put some RTV black silicone over the tiny needle pierced hole. They are quieter now. This is on a 1998 ford escort. Good waxy cv grease. I couldn't buy it in any auto parts store around here. I ordered this a 3am on a Tuesday, got it on Thursday, 3 days before delivery date, Great service Amazon.

I’m a car detailer and when I buy a polisher I always change the grease out and use this stuff. It makes it run smoother and lasts longer than the original grease. It’s great stuff.

I'm a fan of the Oliver trailers, which is fiberglass and rated higher than Airstream trailers, in my mind at least, and on their forum the overwhelming consensus was this is the best wheel bearing grease. So on YouTube I found Farm Project rated this better than my go to - Lucas Red "N" Tacky - and so the rest is history. Redline grease is less red, so I can tell it easily apart from the Lucas I've been using in the past. Don't just squirt it in your zerk fitting, take them apart, thoroughly clean your bearings and of course, new grease seals and then fill up the cavity with your zerk fitting. So buy it in the tub and buy it in the cartridge and buy enough for next time, because they didn't arrive next day.

I tried this grease out on large trailer bearings. I liked it so much, that I am going to use it for almost all things needing heavier grease. So I now have my bearing packer filled with it, and I bought this for my grease gun, so I can use it on all my grease zerks.

I bought this grease because it is simply the best. I have used this grease in many mechanical applications and it works great. All my CV joints are properly lubricated and go a long time without failure. There may be other grease out there that other people believe is good. I just know that red line products get the job done.

I received this product and noticed it had been partially used, like someone took two fingers and scooped out some to test it and then decided they didn't want it and sent it back as-if it had never been opened. No biggy, however. I suspect someone discovered it wasn't compatible with a grease they were currently using. The top lid was carefully resealed with clear tape so the shipper probably didn't notice it had been used.I would be careful to not combine this grease with any other grease, or don't use it in zerks where there is already grease inside the area, but only in areas where one can completely clean out things so only this grease is involved.I like how this grease sticks to things and stays put, but yet also works OK under cold conditions. I sometimes work in temperatures under -15F and I thought this grease would be good to use in my power tools as I go about doing maintenance work on them. It seems to work well at lower temperatures. I noticed how it provides a cushion for my impact driver which didn't exist before with automotive moly grease as I move the 1/2 drive part back and forth, but yet this impact driver works well even if this might reduce its torque some this hasn't been a problem. No, the only problem of note is that THIS STUFF REALLY STINKS. If you want to get into trouble with the little woman, or the not-so-little-any-more woman of the house, just try seeing how this grease functions at higher temperatures in a pan on the stove. This will stink up the whole house far more than the usual automotive grease. It burns a little too quickly for my tastes, but maybe this is not a problem as I raised the temperature really high but then has to leave the house with my hot pan and so neglected to measure the temperature I reached due to complaints about the stink I was creating. After this stink-fest I also noticed how much my tools were smelling from using this grease, where no heat of note was involved. This bad smell is not really a problem in most cases, but in the case of using cordless tools inside a house I would stay away from using this grease for the gear case. For corded tools rarely used inside of a house, it should be fine. Also, of course, for wheel bearings, which is the main use for which I purchased this, the stink of it will not matter and should not be bothering anyone but a dog sniffing around my tires prior to doing his thing -- or perhaps NOT, given the stink this must produce for a critter with a extra good nose. I may do some tests with this grease at some point, OUTSIDE THE HOUSE, and if I do I can add an update.

As with the rest of the Redline Oil products this grease is top shelf. No hype or over inflated claims from them, just excellent products. I am using this for all applications requiring grease other than when an equipment manufacturer has a specification outside this products designed use. Maintains excellent viscosity even when used in very cold weather as I use it on snow removal equipment and high performance snowmobile suspensions in addition to many other warmer weather applications. Pumps easily through a grease gun in same cold weather. No water washout and doesn't bleed in storage. Redline Oil's tech help is excellent should you have questions about product choice or application - they provide prompt educated answers from their technicians, not a marketing pitch with smoke and mirrors from a balloonhead salesman. The purchase through Amazon went very well, including price, and the product actually arrived at my door sooner than the estimated date.
