Heavy duty chains. Hooks can be removed from chain easily to be used for different applications. Sturdy when installed, keeping your worst case scenario as safe as possible.

Good product will work great for safety tethering fifth wheel. But just a little pricy. I dint have time to go to Lowes or Home Depot to get parts.

Highly recommended!!!Due to my new truck I need to add a hitch drop to level out the trailer.As you may know adding a drop pushes the sleeve thus making the existing chains short.This chain with clasp hooks works incredibly well. Actually this chain is way thicker and robust then the stranded cables that came with the trailer.Very satisfied!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am using these as safety chains on a medium duty utility trailer with loads of up to 2 tons. These fit my need perfectly, are rated for my load and certainly appear to be heavy duty, I just hope I don't have the opportunity to find out if the trailer breaks loose. I also plan to us them as a sling to lift my fifth wheel hitch out of my pickup.

I recently purchased a new truck and the tow package on it was slightly further away from my trailer hook up than my old truck.This resulted in my old safety chains being too short and not reaching the hook ups on my truck. These were slightly longer and actually have a better weight rating than my old ones. Also, the hooks are very good quality, as are the chains. What I really like is that the hooks are fastened to the chains with pins which means If I ever find myself in this same situation again I will only need to replace the chains and not the hooks. The hooks also have a latch on them which is required in the state I live in and is just a better peace of mind than hooking on a chains that could possibly detach. These safety chains were a good find and well worth the investment!
