The metal sticks out of the side on the handle. Difficult to hold. I am going see if I can file it down to make it usable.

I use these type putty knives almost daily, and the good ones are hard to find, I bought one of these and also one of the wood handled versions, on this one with the plastic handle the brass looking end cap came off within a couple of weeks, I might be able to glue it back on with epoxy or something similar but haven't tried yet, I was hoping for better quality out of this brand.

Great little putty knife, I have a few others that are much more flexible, but I'm glad I have one that is really sturdy and flexes much less. Great for gasket scraping and cleaning, well built tough and easy to clean up and always a handy hang up hole.

Red Devil doesn't disappoint. This is a tough Knife. What is even tougher is trying to get the label off the blade

FOR THE MONEY,THIS IS A VERY DECENT PUTTY KNIFE. IT HAS A PLASTIC HANDLE WITH A STRIKING TIP ON THE END. THIS SHOULD DO THE TRICK FOR YOU,BUT IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR BETTER QUALITY, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE WORKFORCE WITH A STAINLESS STEEL BLADE THAT'S TWICE THE THICKNESS OF THE RED DEVIL. I USE STIFF PUTTY KNIVES FOR SCRAPING PAINT OFF MY METAL RAILINGS AND TO PRY OUT BASEBOARDS AND TRIMWORK. THE WORKFORCE PUTTY KNIFE IS TWICE THE MONEY,BUT IT'S REAL QUALITY!
