Cannot handle the pressure of the valuing passing through. Tube splits at point where it connects to caulking tube.

The idea behind this caulking extension is great but the execution is terrible. The corrugated flexible tube is attached to the nozzle (also supplied by Red Devil) with a snap fit. With two types of caulking that I used, the pressure of the caulk was so great (in order to get it to flow through the extension) that the corrugated tube just popped off the nozzle getting caulking everywhere. A total waste of money.

Waste of money. Comes apart as soon as the slightest pressure is applied when squeezing the applicator.

To caulk in tight spaces, I tried attaching flexible tubing to a tube of caulk, but it kept coming off, so I decided to try these Red Devil flexible extensions. There have been many negative reviews about the extension coming off. In my case, my silicone caulk tube happened to have a threaded nozzle with a cap, so I was able to securely screw on a Red Devil extension. I only used one as they are quite flexible. It securely held on, and worked great, at least with 100% clear silicone sealant. Also, I was able to cap the extension, and still use it a couple days later without it drying out. Therefore, the key is being able to screw the extension on to a threaded nozzle.

It fits nicely on the top of standard caulk nozzles and screws down securely. That's about the end for the good news. It's long, and it's very flexible. Consequently, you can't apply any pressure to the tip in order to force caulk into cracks. The diameter of the tube plus its length mean that you have to squeeze hard to push caulk out, and there's a seam at the bar of the extension where caulk oozes out at high pressure. Overall, I don't think this is a very good product, or at least not for the job I had.

The idea is good but the design is poor. Does not work as it should. Try the "VEIREN 20 Pack Plastic Caulk Nozzles" instead. They work pretty well.

These can not handle the pressure of the caulking gun and once too much pressure has built up, they shoot off. Do NOT waste your money on this one!

Waste of money. Nozzle keeps popping off the screw on connector. Caulk oozes out the joint between nozzle and connector. The nozzledoes not have a large enough diameter even if you cut it back to the flex part.

Not one piece. The long tube is loosely fitted and can come off. But I made it work for my small project.
