My old can crusher handle broke. And this one works perfectly. And feels very sturdy.

The unit does exactly what it's designed for: crushing cans. It's well-built and it works. I should note that this was purchased to replace a more cheaply made unit, which eventually came apart while I was crushing cans. This one is considerably better, well worth the extra cost.

We've been fooled by the cheaper ones. Don't do it! They don't compare to this one. This is amazing. It is strong, works for all sizes of cans, & lasts! Spend the extra $$$. You won't go back once you try this one.

Much stronger than I expected it to be. I looked at the other version being sold with the external links and complicated mechanism, but they are all too flimsy and weak. Twisting of the crushing plates was a deal breaker.But this one is not that at all. The simple internally mounted force link and slider mechanism is super strong 18 and 16 gauge steel with tight tolerances and no wobble at all. I added gun lube to the friction surfaces and it's smooth at butter, even with my weak hand I had no problems crushing 100 or so can's I had stacked up. After that I inspected it and aside from a few scratches to the paint inside at the back where the smasher head rides up and down in the channel, there was no evidence of wear or bending at all.I am very pleased with this, and even if it does fail later on, it's easy to fix with simple nuts and bolts. I may buy another one for in the shop. Follow the instructions and lube the friction points and surfaces, and if you have any difficulty, pushing a slight dent into the can as you push it into the pocket significantly reduces the already light force needed to crush a can. Helpful tip if you are weak or a kid.

Well put together can crusher that easily crushes cans down to a flat 1/2". Sturdy little sucker that I've been running at least five cans a day through over the last couple months.

Pretty sturdy. Crushes cans well. Purchased one when there were no reviews. Purchasing a second one for another building after typing this.Came back to add both are still currently holding up well after a hundred or so cans crushed. Just bought a third one for another location.

I wondered how this would work after reading reviews of several other products. I took a chance and ordered this one. When this arrived I was immediately impressed by how well made and sturdy this was. My wife couldn't wait to mount it on the wall and use it, it's great! I heartily recommend this product.
