The product is great but the only reason I can't do a 4 star is that there were no wiring instructions.Now, I'm sure they would prefer a professional do the installation but let's face it, those of us that camp will do it ourselves. We'll, use caution because the wiring instructions recpro themselves put out for this particular product when you Google it are incorrect. I couldn't figure out why I was blowing every fuse I used until another person commented on a different site the issue.For the three prong switch, the top blade is your ground. The middle is the power lead from your battery. The lower blade is the power to the pad. Do this and you'll be good to go.

My package arrived with only 2 of the 3 heating pads in the box. I reached out to recpro and they sent the 3rd pad in the mail no questions asked. Very nice team to work with. The hearing pads themselves work fine and keep my 2 batteries as well as my fresh water tank warm in the winter.

After installing I found only 2 of the 3 would work, I got ahold of customer support and wow” John “ from customer support responded quickly and send me a replacement part. The new part was in my hand within 3 business days! Great customer support. Thanks John

Tested them in the freezer and they seemed to be warming. Haven't used them yet but I believe they will work as designed.

Easy to install. Very good adhesive. You can trim a few inches off on the length since the heating element doesn’t go from end to end on the 7 1/4”X25”

Ordered the 3 pad w/ switch set. Installation was simple, however, one pad dad a faulty thermostat. Contacted RecPro with a description of the problem and they sent a replacement by priority mail. That is great service.

Heaters seem like they will be effective - test before you apply to your tanks - they are HARD to remove, and are not coming off on their own! You could put a pad in the fridge or freezer with the leads coming out the door, and provide 12 volts at 6 amps (Jump starter/car charger/etc) for a bit, then pull it out and see if its warm. 1/3 didn't function, seller quickly replaced. Nice to find a set of 3 for black, grey and fresh in one purchase. For three pads and six pipe elbow heaters, I used 10 gauge wire, a 35 amp automotive switch and a 30 amp fuse.
