I was happy and impressed with this skylight for my travel trailer. The original began cracking and leaking into the bathroom/shower within 3 years of being brand new. This skylight is clearly more substantial and well-built than what I saw at RV dealership. It also was priced far more reasonably. I installed it with the sealing/leveling-tape and EPDM sealant kit. I highly recommend using the tape/sealant kit. No cracking or leaking all summer or even through the winter snow/spring thaw. Great product.

I bought this to replace the old skylight on My 2010 Open Range RV. Wow! Easy install. Looks great! Much more natural light in my bathroom!!

This was easy to install, and value for the money seems pretty good. But a couple of caveats. I bought the one described as "opaque". From Oxford dictionary: OPAQUE - 'not able to be seen through; not transparent'. Well this is far from opaque, and I can read a newspaper through it. Slightly cloudy is more like a correct description, and translucent would be almost too generous. I don't really care if it is opaque or clear, so I used it anyway, but I would have preferred it to be much darker. Maybe I will paint it. That would solve any UV damage issues too.

As described. I'm very happy with my new skylight. As stated there's a blemish on the top I tried to get a pic of but it does not affect the effectiveness of the skylight. It is also very easy to install. I also love how much more light this gave us in our bathroom!

Installed for 12 months now. Absolutely love it ! It adds so much natural light on rainy days it looks and sounds SO nice 💕.We boondock a lot so we cover the windows really well and this adds natural morning sun we love to wake up to.We made a cover for it and I posted a picture of it. I love this cover because it is perfectly shaped to the skylight and is manuable. When the sun is harsh I can make sure no light comes through and it is easy to remove as needed. We have never cleaned this off and it is getting dirty so we need to clean it off. Would be nice to have something we could spray it with that would repell dust and algae.Overall this changed our camper completely and we LOVE it so much. I wanted to post a review now that we have had it installed for a year.Installing: We used three steps. First we applied two layers of butyl tape to the edge that touches the roof on the skylight itself. Then installed it over the hole we cut so the butyl tape was direct contact with the roof. Then screwed down in preformed holes with TEKS metal screws with sealing washer built in. They are in the roofing isle at Home Depot. Once screwed down we applied gutter sealant all around the top edge AND up and over the screw heads. Do this so it’s pretty and also thick all around. Let that cure for a few days and then we applied RV Roof paint (premium stuff) over the roofing sealant making a perfect line on the plastic you will see. Don’t go up too high you will see it from inside. Blend your roofing paint so no water pools and your taking it out many inches onto existing roof. Lastly we added trim to the skylight on the inside matching to our wall color to give our ceiling some contrast and make it stand out.Hope this helps ! We have had no issues with the plastic itself other than it not being as clear as we wish it would be but this was also fairly inexpensive.

Watched several installation vids on Professor Youtube before trying to change the skylight out. Make sure you do the same or you'll really be frustrated with replacing one of these. Use extra caution with applying solvents to remove the old sealant. Some instructions will say to use acetone. That's a really bad idea on fiberglass or other plastic-like surfaces. Mineral spirits worked well in my case.

Skylight is crystal clear & the perfect size for our Dodge Ram 3500 van. Excited to see the stars through it!It has gotten scratched up easily and not as see-through now. It is pretty to look through while laying down but a bit hazy It is pretty to look through while laying down but a bit hazy

We replaced the one on an older model camper that we purchased and man-o-man what a difference it made. My husband installed is very easily and we are pleased with how it brightened up our camper!!! Came on time as promised.
