We ordered a shower base which turned out to not fit properly and we wanted to return it? We sent for a return label which was unpaid and when we took it with the post office to ship the shipping price is double of the price of the product we purchased. We contacted the shipper which was the manufacturer directly and they offered to give us some help but then change their mind and said we needed to go through Amazon. I contacted Amazon and they said since it was a third party seller I would have to contact them. There was a lot of back and forth before any resolution and I still really don't know if there is one. We will wait to see.We had already ordered another shower base from them the product itself seems to be great and we will be using that for our project. The products do not seem inferior but the customer service definitely needs a little help.

The shower pan itself is very thin and ours came with a slight imperfection on one of the corners as if the plastic was stuck in the mold or hit something while the plastic was still hot but it is still waterproof. The styrofoam support helps to ensure the pan is level and supported, it does bend slightly while stepping. Not sure how the styrofoam will hold up after continuous use and weight being applied, possibly a soft spot or dip in the future in the main standing area as we already feel compression of the foam.

This shower pan is just plastic and styrofoam, it wont last. We paid ~$80 in shipping to send it back right after we opened the box and got one made of fiberglass. If you need something that is really light weight, it may be a good choice. Otherwise I would get something different.
