Recording King's Dirty 30's Resonator delivers tons of classic style and a vintage resonator tone perfect for old-school blues and slide players. The single 0 size resonator drips with vibe, from the f-holes and tailpiece to the classic sunburst matte finish. Traditional resonator sound is delivered from a hand-spun 9.5" cone in a pedestal soundwell. Soundposts surround the circle of the soundwell and the cone vibrations are free to bounce within the full cavity of the body. The f-holes are placed to optimize bass and treble frequencies as they exit the body for the perfect dry, throaty resonator tone. Whether you're a songwriter who wants vintage blues or slide sound, or a first-time player who wants something a little cooler, get traditional resonator tone in a road-worthy small body from the Recording King Dirty 30's Resonator single 0. Recording King's Dirty 30's Series gives players authentic vintage style with the reliability of modern design.

The resonator guitar model dirty 30s had a good appearance but tuning keys were damaged and the materials were unsatisfactory. When I picked up the single shipping box, I thought, it's empty. There was no weight to this instrument and the fingerboard was paper thin. Disappointed

Very happy with this resonator. It plays and sounds great. The neck required about a 1/4 turn out of the box. Is it the best resonator out there? Of course not. Is it good value? Absolutely. I think beginners and experienced players will both enjoy this guitar.I had a small issue with some discoloration on the bridge cover so I contacted the company re: the warranty. They were quick to respond and got a replacement part in the mail ASAP. A+ customer service.

This s a great entry level/intermediate instrument if you want to try your hard at blues, slide, hawaiian, or similar genres without breaking the bank. Might take a tad of work to dial in for recording, but this is great to work your chops up. Recommended.

This guitar is flawless! I love this guitar! It plays well with no buzzing and stays in tune. If somebody told me this guitar cost $1,200, I would believe them. You could use this guitar for recording but it also makes a great guitar to practice with because it plays so easily. I have always liked this cover plate. It's the same cover plate on the National guitar on the Dire Straits Brothers In Arms album. You won't regret buying this guitar.

Decent price and very good quality resophonic. Good lookin', too. Sound is mellow but just a bit soft for a blues talker. Very happy with this "Dirty Thirties," though.

This is my first resonator but I've been playing guitar for 20 years and have owned many almost all types of acoustic guitar except this. The quality is superb and the instrument is beautiful. The visual instrument wasn't very clear in the picture but in person the tobacco sunburst effect is very subtle with the softer brown/light brown echoing the chrome coverplate. Also this guitar is softly painted and isn't covered with varnish/glaze like some are so it's smooth to the touch and your sweaty hand doesn't get stuck sliding up and down the neck. The chrome coverplate and parts are beautiful and highly reflective (you can see your reflection when admiring your instrument). The sound is softer than some resonators I've played with it really noticeable on the highest 2 strings. In my opinion really want to play a slide to get the most out of it. I also have it tuned to GBDGBD which isn't recommended for round necks and meant for square necks but I didn't get this guitar just because it looks good. It's an excellent deal considering it's a hundred dollars cheaper than most Regals or other models. Very satisfied with my purchase.
