This is good replacement starter rope. I replaced a bad rope in my snow blower that was some sort of cotton and had rotted from getting wet I assume. This being nylon should not have that issue and it is slippery as well so that should reduce some friction. I now have a lifetime supply of replacement starter rope.

I don't currently have a recoil that needs to be repaired, but wanting to give the Zelarman rope an honest trial, I took one for the team and rewound an old weed whacker just so I could say I actually used the product.The cord is is thin and strong and slick enough that it easily slides through the recoil's grommet (for lack of a better term). It's also a great value since 100 meters costs about the same amount as 2 precut recoil ropes from a parts dealer. Other than that, I really don't know what else to say about a spool of rope.
