The interior clip on the recoil which catches the flywheel is plastic the original part had a metal clip.

This is the second time I bought one of these out of desperation, it broke again after about the third pull. Again. Complete junk. I finally went a spent $120 on the legitimate part and haven't had a problem since

Installed fine but first pull the handle broke right off. Very frustrating.
